Does anyone know of any non-Apple bluetooth mouse that can be used with Macbook/Macbook Pro built-in bluetooth module without an external dongle?

You should try not to use the external dongle, since macbook already has bluetooth, bring along your macbook.

I guess you didn't like the apple one because of the single click. I bought one and now it is in my cupboard...

He DID mention he was looking for one to use with built in bluetooth of the Macs WITHOUT dongle.

You have an Apple bluetooth mouse (wireless Mighty Mouse) in your cupboard because it's single click? I'm not sure which "Apple" mouse you have, but the Apple's Mighty Mouse do have right click. And squeeze buttons, and 360 degrees scroll wheel, and also scroll button. And the buttons are customizable.

threadstarter, you can consider a Logitech V270 if you want an alternative to the mighty mouse... The V270 has only 3 clickable buttons instead of the mighty mouse's 4, and only vertical scrolling... I chose it over the mighty mouse coz i personally like the feel of it in the palms of my hand... smile.gif Easy to pair, and the battery life is good as well...

the older wireless mouse does not have the right click functions and also the squeeze buttons....

out of 100 times i use my macbook, there is only about 5 times i use it with my wireless mighty mouse.....i dont know y but i just dont like the mouse.....rather use a RM15 ibm knockoff mouse....

part of it is apple's fault...coz the made the track pad so damn easy to use....hehe.....

I don't know how expensive the wireless mighty mouse is M'sia, but for me, £40 was a decent price to pay for such a nice mouse.

If you're adamant you don't want an apple built mouse, why don't you give logitechs website a look? They do a few bluetooth mice(?) as well...

For me, Apple have the best mouse in the world (just usage for designs).

First, it's the one button click on the top. The reason of one button design is for left-handed and right-handed. So, this one button concept can be universally can be used for both hands preference users.

Second, the 360 degree scroll. Simple, it's because it's 360 degree instead those normal mouse. Small ball that keeps the design look steady and nice.

Thrid, the scroll middle button. Default this button is for the dashboard show up. One click to show up the dashboard it's actually a fast access to our favourite widgets, so this is also a good concept of it.

Fourth, the mouse squeeze button on the both side of the mouse. Default this button is to expose all of the windows while you're doing heavy tasks. This feature it's actually good for those who are doing complicated works with a lot windows and applications open. With expose, you can see all of the windows in the desktop and switching it with just 2 actions. Pretty fast and pretty cool.

Finally, where's the right click button? It's actually a touch sensitive button located at the right side of the scrool button. Right-clicking in Mac are a seldom use function, that's why it's located there.

So, the mouse design looks simple from the top. If you count how many buttons, eventually you will get 4 buttons on an Apple mouse. Intellegent Apple? Yes!

RM300 for that wireless mouse. If you use PC, you can't have multiple Bluetooth connections. If you use the Apple ones, you can have both keyboard and mouse wirelessly Bluetooth and you can even have multiple Bluetooth connection with it. This is an advantage on the Mac.

Think again.

I love my mouse but the frequent cleaning require n order to keep the scroll functioning is really getting on my nerves. I have half a mind to return it to apple and get another mouse. Any recommendations?
