All glass aquariums come with the polystyrene for the base coz it is heavy, the polystyrene cushions the glass tank so that it is less likely to break from the water force.  So I don't think he meant inside the tank but underneath it.
They can.... it will go away. Just give a piece of veggie for it to munch.

Hahah.... clear plastic tanks can easily get from any petshop that sells small animals or fishes.... of course price is not really stable, some are RM35, some RM50... so depends on where you get it.

Hoho... my female Syrian so stinky now. Heat heat....

petshop get their pets for sale from breeder too. but then, they were kept in cage forever without any human intervention, until sold, therefore is more difficult to tame.

some private breeder, breed them, take care of them since young, a lot of human interaction & intervention involved, therefore getting hamster from those breeder is better as the hamster is easily tamed.

petshop? just for business purpose.

breeder? more of personal attention by the breeder to the hamster.

Hun, if the hammy dig around the tank is consider ok rite ? If it sits still on the wheel then how ? sometimes i c it looks blankly at something and stare for a long time, i need to disturb it's whiskers then only it responds to me. Too bored ah ? almost every nite i play with it for about 1-2 hours, but thats around 1am-3am, ok for it ah ? when its on my palm, it likes to climb around, sometimes make me flip my palm the otherside then it'll climb back to my palm again. exercising ?

sumone help me...huhu...   my cute2 WW pups are now more than a month and i separate them according to gender...at female side until now got no prob...but sadly at male side...at first the daddy n his boy were intro n got no prob at all at the first week...and then juz now i saw them fight...at first i thought they juz wanna play but then they got more serious fight..huhu...the daddy seem very2 mad wit his boy...i now separate the boy...     its this normal?? how to solve this prob?? are they having territory prob??

guys, wonder how much a pearl ww cost? the shop near my house is selling them for rm25 .. and i was shocked when they told me that the "totally black dwarf hammy" is a winter white .. -.-' lucky i didnt fall for it, as i know that theres only 3 types of ww.. i think they're rc.. and they put all rc and ww into 1 tank.. they sell all of them as ww -.-'

true lah, 25 is quite worth, but after seeing the condition of the pearl, makes me feel that, they look in quite bad condition lah... even their ears also got so many holes already ><

Hi guys... I got good news!
Remember when I thought my hamsters are 1 pair and I need to separate them? Now they both are fat fat hammies already and can see the sex!
Yeay!! Both are males... phew! Can see their tiny balls and also the holes are far apart, which means they are both males! So happy, hahaha! Now I dont have to separate them or give them away! Yeay yeay!

Anyway, will they fight later? So far since they have been together since they were 2 weeks old, they never fight... the play and sleep together.. my Winter Gold / Puding is larger than my WW Pearl...  is this normal? I read that WW is smaller than campbell... and since Puding is a hybrid, that means it is logical that he is larger than my WW Pearl right?

Oh, just incase I havent told you guys their name... Puding is FUFU and WW Pearl is MOMO...
