You saw right through me. Just got a 50-in plasma with the HDMI port on the side
What would the port think if i don't use it?  
Dats a pretty sweet idea all things considered but how much am i going to lose in the end? 

A brand new premium is MYR1500, how much would a second hand be? And then when i re-sell it, how much will it go for? Can anyone give me some rough figures?
Especially those who have done it?

I don't feel like spending MYR 3-4k if i can just wait and spend MYR 2k as a one time investment for the Asian Elite.

And here i thought i was doomed to wait longer. But...then again like you said, would it it be great product or not? Third party manufacturers almost always screws it up. dats why when it comes to accessories, people stick with the OEM because OEM knows best.

Plus there's the technical disadvantage of converting component which is an analog signal to HDMI which is a digital signal. There's a loss in the conversion.

Got excited only to be disappointed again after checking round the web. 

Plus i've read that towards Christmas, they'll be releasing an Upgraded Core and Premium series with the HDMIs.

And don't forget the talk bout the new, faster and cooler 65nm processor. Could it be included in the Chrismast series launch too? 

Then what's the point at all of releasing the Elite now?

If i were to splurge on the US Elite now i could be missing out on a cheaper new series Premium with a faster chip come tis December!!! And don't forget u need to add a few months to that because lame ass Microsoft can't release the Asian version at the same time! I thought this people was after our money. Now, do they want it or not? Or are they bent on some twisted mission to make us Asians look like fools?
