Thanks for your answer. smile.gif

I hope that Bank Rakyat will provide hardware token to interested banking customers, such as your mother, just as you wish for.

The mandatory usage of mobile banking app is flawed from the perspective of banking customers, because not all banking customers have smartphone.

I am not sure that which thread we should use to discuss about hardware token and mobile banking app.

Anyway, we should stop talking about hardware token and mobile banking app here, as it is getting off topic.

[SPayLater] How do I activate SPayLater?

The option to activate SPayLater is currently available only to eligible and selected Shopee users.

Let's say that I do not have a Shopee account yet, as of now.

If I register a Shopee account today, how soon can I start to use SPayLater?

Is it necessary for me to use ShopeePay first, before I am qualified to use SPayLater?

Thank you for your information. smile.gif

Definitely you need a verified Shopee account first, followed by a verified ShopeePay account.

Not sure if you could "apply" for Spaylater account or not. Last time Spaylater were available to active Shopee users only, credit limit should be worked out from Shopee/ShopeePay transactions.

Thank you for your reply, ClarenceT.

Roughly how much is the total cumulative amount that I have paid via ShopeePay, or what is the duration for which I need to be an active Shopee user, before I can be approved to use SPayLater?

Spaylater/ShopeePay to pay Posonline...
Sabah Electricity - Yes
Sarawak Energy - Yes
Tenaga - not accepted.

Thank you. smile.gif

I just have to locate the nearest Pos PAM later, so that I can use the Pos PAM to pay TNB bill via SPayLater.

Has anyone managed to use SPayLater, to perform advance payment (overpaying) of PPTGWP parcel rent, on POSOnline website?

PPTGWP refers to Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan.

POSOnline website requires the billing year to be typed.

If I want to pay the parcel rent for next year (2026), do I type 2026?

Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your good experience. smile.gif

Does that mean that RM 200 is paid to your DBKL Assesment Bill, and you pay only RM 180 to your SPayLater bill?

There is no commission being paid to the post office, right?

I wonder why when I make payment in Shopee App, scan QR then it ask for my face recognition. So several times I’m stuck for like a minute in front of cashier to let the system recognise my face (get the thing to turn green) then only I can authorise payment.

I agree with you on this matter.

It is understandable that the facial recognition is implemented for the sake of security.

However, for practicality, the facial recognition should be prompted for only the first QR payment via Shopee App, and the subsequent QR payments via Shopee App will require only PIN.

Sometimes, I need several attempts to pass the facial recognition. bangwall.gif As such, the cashier started to become very impatient and urged me to pay with cash, instead of e-Wallet.

I could only pacify the cashier, before finally passing the facial recognition and showing the payment confirmation page of Shopee App to the cashier.

Nowadays, we no longer get SPayLater cashback, whether payment is made via scanning the QR code in Pos Malaysia counters, and via POS PAM scanning our QR code on our ShopeePay app, right?

Daily SPayLater cashback (RM 0.31 / 3.10 / 31) for QR payment via ShopeePay app is credited into our ShopeePay eWallet, right?

Previously, the SPayLater cashback, which was obtained via POS PAM scanning our QR code on our ShopeePay app, was directly deducted from the payment amount, so SPayLater outstanding balance is smaller.

Since my ShopeePay eWallet balance is much smaller than my SPayLater outstanding balance, how should I use my ShopeePay eWallet to pay my SPayLater outstanding balance, so that I can utilize Daily SPayLater cashback (RM 0.31 / 3.10 / 31)?

After all, no partial payment is allowed for the payment of SPayLater outstanding balance.

Sigh, I would prefer the previous SPayLater cashback which was used to directly reduce the payment amount made via SPayLater.
