MAXIS sms Content Subscription SCAM! BY MAXIS

 MAXiS user BEWARE and CHECK YOUR BILL MONTHLY. I TRUSTED THEM and didnt check my bill clearly as its postpaid package. To my Surprise when i check it back, theres few months that have this Sms Subscription which i didnt subcribed by sms or anything. CALLED MAXIS Center and they Say they cant do anything after 14days .  AND they say you dont need to reply YES to subscribe for it. ITS AUTOMATED SUBSCRIPTION!!!! until you stop it! 23399 MINIme 27200 FUnny ZONE 23239 NOVEL pLUS WAP FUCK MAXIS... Attachment BILL SCREEN SHOT AND SMS SCREEN SHOT! I HAVE LEAVE MAXIS. HAVE YOU? If not check your bill monthly HAHA!!!

Also happened to me. My mother is using Hotlink Prepaid but her credit finished early. Complained to Maxis Seremban & they say cannot do anything or check her account. They suggest convert Hotlink Prepaid to Postpaid Flex and then, register under my name. I agree.
Received bill next month with Content & Solution alone amounted to RM108.00. The SMS SCAM sent daily to my mother without her knowledge from MCOM SMS - 32369, Infobip Asia SMS - 36247 & Power SMS - 33789. I complained directly to MCMC & Maxis later settled my complaint by crediting my account.
Another matter, when converting Prepaid to Postpaid Flex, I asked the Maxis officer for BASIC Postpaid Flex account because my mother does not know how to use internet & just using basic mobile. The Officer add Internet 4GB RM10/monthly without my permission/knowledge. I also complaint this to MCMC & Maxis later cancel this RM10/monthly subscription.
Another thing, when I register this account, I signed the agreement on Maxis Terminal/Tab Screen. The officer did not show me the particular & terms of the agreement and did not give me any printed agreement. My mistake.
SO LESSON LEARNED :- 1. Always check you bill. 2. Complained directly to MCMC and cc to Maxis. Keep the complaint number when they reply. 3. New registration with any Telcos, ask for HARD COPY/PRINTED agreement. Check the particular & terms.
