RM4b transferred from KWAP to SRC in two tranches

3.30pm - Witness Wedani Senen confirms that a second tranche of RM2 billion flowed from Kumpulan Wang Pekerjaan (KWAP) into SRC International's bank account on March 28, 2012.

The AmBank Remittance Centre's Rentas Unit manager corroborates a confirmation advice document shown to her by DPP Sulaiman Kho.

Previously, witness R Uma Devi testified that RM2 billion was transferred into SRC International's account on the same date.

The first tranche of RM2 billion was transferred from KWAP to SRC International's account on Aug 26, 2011.

Government servants mostly vote for BN last time (some forced to). So can't complain when money embezzled for 1MDB, even when no money to pencen can't blame anyone.

Problem is that when KWAP no money to pay retiree, blame current gov, then gov needs to bail out, use taxpayers money.

What KWAP got to do with SRC? why need to transfer?

Finance Minister cannot move such a huge amount of fund without Prime Minister approval.
That's why in most company, these two positions are always separated, only Tun M can think that it was a good idea to have these two positions held by one person ...

Reason because if anything happens Finance Minister will be held accountable, so FM will think twice because he/she won't trust the PM to protect him/her when shit happens. Even if PM is involved, sure will find FM as scapegoat, so risk is high as FM.

But if PM & FM are the same person, things are different! Confirm PM will protect FM ma ...

The 4 billion was a loan that KWAP gave to SRC a few years ago. Nothing suspicious about the transaction because it was announced publicly but its use is dubious and the former KWAP CEO said it was not a problem because the government guaranteed it. I bet KWAP didn't do proper due dilegence before loaning the money to the cash strapped SRC back then. Same logic that Najib used in the Eagle High investment without taking into account the other party's ability to repay.
