This is a very negative move, and will fragment education further.....and I can foresee so much potential abuses of this system....
Together with the proposed increased matrik intake, this move shows the education minister has no idea what quality education means....he is just doing damage control by taking turns pleasing both sides of the political divide.....
The entry requirements via this SATU channel are still the same with the entry requirements via UPU, isnt it?Together with the proposed increased matrik intake, this move shows the education minister has no idea what quality education means....he is just doing damage control by taking turns pleasing both sides of the political divide.....
The main difference is that those who go through this SATU channel will need to pay full tuition fees if admitted to the university.
The negative aspect of this scheme is that fewer places will be available for students applying via UPU since the university will need to "reserve" a certain number of places for applicants from this SATU channel so that it can earn additional income from the SATU channel applicants.
