Very similar to the above order from keah.kyle, I have also made my purchase 2 days ago.

The only difference is that mine is 1TB SSD, added Lenovo Legion M200 RGB Gaming Mouse for RM16 and manage to get a backpack from Lenovo for RM1

Total RM5010.20 - 6% Pending Cashback from ShopBack (RM291.40)
New Total = RM4718.8

Previously got someone in the same thread mentioned about using ShopBack and it is available for Lenovo and can get 6%

So what I did:

I went to ShopBack website (register and login), search Lenovo / y7000 (I forgot), then you will be see Lenovo 6% appear

Click the Lenovo and I am directed to the same Lenovo website.

Searched y7000, clicked all the addons, customized my laptop and proceed with payment using the discount code as well.

Completed the purchase using the same tab (Without knowing whether ShopBack is tracing, just following their guide using the same tab till the end)

After I have completed, nothing appeared from ShopBack until few hours later when I check recent activity and it shows that I have purchased XXX laptop from Lenovo, cash back amount xxx, status - Pending confirmation from Lenovo.

This is my first time using ShopBack also, so I dont know how reliable they are also and how everything works and I havent get my money back from them yet. Still waiting =)

P.S. After Purchase Lenovo will ask you create an account with Lenovo and you can trace your purchase there, and thats what I did, and I can see my purchase being prepared and Lenovo personnel can trace/edit my purchase so I dont think ShopBack led me to some bad sites. phew..

This is what I did before i purchase my y7000

I recommend you to browse through the official Lenovo site to customize the specs that you really want, and after entering discount codes to see whats the final price.

After that you can go survey Lowyat Plaza to see the model, touch it feel it and ask the person to explain all the things you want to know. Then try to customize the laptop with the sales person and they will give u their final price and the freebies they can give you.

I think buying there have the benefit of getting your laptop on the spot, and you can check the laptop.

Buying online got the benefit of buying it cheaper, the steps was written earlier.. the cons is that you have to wait loh, and i am still waiting it, also hope that the laptop got no issue when it arrive..

Shopback Guide:

Step 1: go to ShopBack website, create and login your account

Step 2: at ShopBack website, search "lenovo" and click Lenovo Upsized Cashback 8%, multiple coupons will appear

Step 3: There is 1 of the selection written "Deal" - Shop Now, Click it and click "Go to Lenovo Now!"

You will then be directed to Lenovo website.

Step 4: Search for your Rig, proceed with check out after all your add ons

Step 5: At Check out, apply code "LENXCIMB" and get 20% discount

Step 6: make the payment

Done

"Please make sure that from Step 1 until Step 6 must be using the same tab"

Now go back to your shopback and wait for awhile, your money should appear shortly in pending status.
