Hi ZM Fong, i still havent decided on my new laptop yet and the MCO kick-in. Then today i saw the ads of Level 51 offering new gen CPU of both AMD and Intel.

Previously i was about to go ahead with Forge 15 Elite i7-9750h GTX1660TI @ 4375, now seems like the i7-10750h is a better deal, BUT only with GTX1650TI @ 4065. If were to choose GTX1660TI, it will be AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4079

So the comparison here is that
i7-10750h vs AMD Ryzen 3600
or
GTX1650TI vs GTX1660TI?

I know u mentioned that the forge is a new Clevo chasis and no review yet so u cant comment further. If were to compared on by the spec above regardless of brand, which CPU/GPU will u recommend?

So i guess i go with the R5 3600 with 1660ti then.

oh ya btw, you mentioned that the forge has only one primary slot of ssd. It still can add another HDD right so become SSD + HDD?

G14 is the Asus with AMD Chip?

Unfortunately the G14 is only a RTX2060 Max-Q, if it was a full RTX2060 then it would be a sweet spot

How about the Asus Zephyrus S 2019 model, what's the battery life like. I heard is around 5 hours at best?

Hi TS, any recommendations for budget around 7.5k rtx 2070 laptops? Prefer 15.6 inch with numpad, good cooling system, mostly for editing and heavy gaming. If urgent what should i get? If can wait 2 months is it new gpu coming out?

I did look at Level51 offerings, pretty tempting.

But i value the USB-C charging more because when i bring it out i don't have to carry the chonky power brick. That can be left at home.

Yeah probably will go for the MSI, i was really interested in the MSI GS66 RTX2070 Super Max-Q but then saw the price and officially went off my list.

The difference between the RTX2060 and RTX2070 Super is like 2 or 3k. That's crazy.

Acer Predator Triton 500 also was a consideration but no Type C charging.

As light as possible because will be carrying around, but not willing to sacrifice performance and cooling so weight is optional, battery moderate will be enough

2kg+-, battery life around 6 hours
