Hi Zn Fong, i would like to ask, has the Acer laptop durability increased from last time, when they have a bad reputation for reliability. Coz the Acer spin laptop looks attractive, but just afraid not reliabke, coz my acer swift
laptop broke down in 2 years. So quite hesitant

no laptop brand is durable and reliable

if u prioritize these 2 aspect should look at business laptops like Thinkpad and Latitude, however they are not bullet proof either

Is there any major difference between performance for your recommended

Rm3100 - Dell Inspiron 14 5415 5500U

Vs

Rm2700 - dell inspiron 15 3000, 3515 (ryzen 5, 3500u)?

The latter is a bigger display, but at a significant slower speed? If only use for online learning, some streaming/surfing and some spreadsheet/word usage, not much difference?

inspiron 3000 series has mediocre build quality, not recommended

Is Acer Swift 5 good as a lightweight ultrabook? Does it price justify its durability? I am considering this or the illegear Arte..Plan it to use for few years.
I prefer Swift 5 tho cause it looks nicer, intel evo certified & come with touch screen.

if durability is ur main concern, shouldn't look at consumer grade laptops, go for business laptops (more expensive as well)

intel evo certification doesn't mean anything significant

Long batt not really a strong point but can last 3 hrs easily on my X280.

Ahh I thought Arte/Swift 5 is considered as business laptop for its price range..I feel so lost in this market lol ..
So for this price range, will you suggest Arte or Swift 5? Or you have any other better choice?
