the last time I checked with their personnel, he asked me to email to billing email (which I did and got a standard reply in which I have to wait 10-20 working days).
the last time I heard from him was when he asked if I can take 8GB DDR4 RAM x 2 instead of the 1 X 16GB because this is out of stock ....

1x16gigs is more expensive right? Make sure they refund you the difference though.

May I know what's your config, and when did you place the order? Also do you mind to inform us if you gotten the unit already? Because I really curious if their queue processing is really follow queue order, or they cut queue order once customer make noise.

New review of Onyx V ryzen

I think it has been about 2 weeks I received my Onyx V ryzen 7. No complain so far.

It can run everything smoothly.

But I never really tried out the keyboard and display as it's connected to my external monitor and keyboard since day 0.

The laptop keyboard does get warm and fan noise is quite loud when gaming but I think it's common for all gaming laptop. I have no other gaming laptop to compare with anyway.

So perhaps it's a better option to buy a separate keyboard and a good headset for gaming purpose.

The fan noise sometimes is audible during normal web browsing. I wonder if it's because the system is running dGPU all the times. But I lazy to keep switching between iGPU and dGPU manually. So let's stay this way at the moment.

Anyway, I have received the AMD coupon for the free games today. I have used the coupon but seems like need to further wait for response from AMD.

 

Just received my onxy v ryzen. Everything looks fine, but is it normal for the laptop to get heated to the point that the keyboard is uncomfortable to use? Eventhough I am just surfing the internet.
But with the fan boost mode then it cools down and is alright, but that mode is really loud and is kinda annoying.

Me who paid RM139 for upgrade and now its free you know the feeling..
