no la actually cantonese more lc. U see cities with cantonese speaking tend to be expensive and rude. One claypot chicken rice rm12 to 14 whereas penang claypot chicken rice only rm6. u go to petaling street order hokkien mee , for rm10 they give small prawn and sotong head wtf. conman alot . They get rejected stuff and sell it at a premium. when ordering wan tan mee in petaling street , its rm7 but when it comes, rm8 to 9 . When i asked them, they say wan tan not included in the price yet wtf. Kl traders like to say if u dont buy dont ask alot or touch my fruits .this is very lc



Hk is famous for being rude and lc. they think they are better than chinaman but in reality most of them are poor people living in pigeon hole. They think they stay in first class city but most of their home are mostly low cost ppr flat lol.

That's my best effort to understand what they were trying to say.
Don't feel offended if you are from that state.

Last time (I am talking about our grandfathers time), each dialect speaker considers other dialect speakers as a different as race. So, yeah racism does happen because to them Hokkien is a different race.

But now, its has mostly died off because all the youngsters can speak mandarin and I think most Chinese thinks its silly to consider other dialect speakers as another race.

i think i know why already . Its because they cant compete with other people so they try to play victim card like how hker blame mainland chinese affect them but in reality hker are just plain lousy . they were ahead when asia was still sleeping but now on the same competing level , mainland chinese are ahead of them alot.

Charging a premium price and still giving sotong head butchered like its rejected or charging RM70 for a prawn wat tan hor is not acceptable. Often u see those hawkers in kl dam lcly giving sign to their customers that if u dont like don eat attitude. Its not the norm in other places except in cantonese majority areas such as kl and hk. I have seen a foreign workers get slap and bullied when he asks a lot of question in lowyat.
