Hi,

I bought a used laptop(HP Envy M6) from a forumer, profile name: Ludwig.

1) He said the outlook condition of the laptop is not good - we agree with a good price

2) Then he said currently resetting the windows and suddently he said wifi not working, then he gv me a solution to buy external USB Wifi Adapter - we agree with different price.

3) During COD i ve check the laptop and evrythg as he told. I ddnt notice the little white dead spot on the screen that only can be seen suring white background, and the seller never told me about this.

4) Then i went back home and inspect the laptop then i found the little white dead spot.

5) I asked him to refund the money, he said he cant do that.

6) Then i asked him to repair the screen for me, he said he cant.

7) I asked him to provide the cost to repair, also he dont want.

8) Then i asked him to provide some compensation. He start to ignore my messeges.

9) Now he bloked me in watsapp, i cant call him and he also bloked me in lowyat forum, i cant send messeges to him.

Please be carefull with this guy....He never told me about the little white spot on the screen..Very unprofessional.

NOTE: I'm replying here due to the advice from staff fruitie as I've ceased contact with nicky0737 due to concern of my safety (explained further below)

1) I already explained everything i knew about the laptop, you acknowledged it. I even found out that the Wi-Fi card isn't working and called to inform you on the day of the trade (Saturday 13 April), i even reimbursed you for it.

2) Explained in 1), original nego price was RM775. Showed you that you could get a Wi-Fi adapter for RM10, but i dropped the price down to RM750 then you countered with RM700. I didn't want to argue since you've been constantly low balling since February so I said okay to RM700.

3) We both inspected the laptop together thoroughly. I did not rush you. You were the one who concluded the deal and said "Okay, I think that's everything" and left while I cleaned the table. I did not know anything about the "white dead spot" anywhere on the screen and neither did you (at the time).

4) -

5) I told you all my sales are final. Your text on whatsapp before the COD was also: "Lets close at RM700".

6) My responsibilities to you were to sell you a laptop, not provide further customer service. That being said, i still maintained communications with you up until Sunday 14 April at around 11pm, and tried to give you solutions to your issues from 4am til 11pm on Sunday 14 April.

7) You did not ask me anything about "cost of repair", the only thing you were concerned about was a full refund.

8) I already told you that my sales are final. Didn't ignore your messages, i was still replying and trying to help. I told you from the very beginning that if I didn't care, I would have blocked you from the very beginning; but i didn't, until now.

9) The reason why i blocked you was because you threatened me by saying "trace ur location to find u..". How can I not treat that as a threat when people want to come and find me?

Come on bro,

Please dont create a innocent scene here..

My Question is, Why u dont want to take resposiblity for the defect (white dead spot) on the screen?As a seller, u have to inspect the item from A-Z.Then if a problem occurs u as a seller must privide some solution..

Now u putting blame on me? For what? i ve trace the white dead spot on the screen less than 12hours of the purchase.

If u r a genuine seller, u no need to blocked me in watsapp..if u telling the reason for ur safety (childish reason), tht i could trace ur location, then why u bloked me in lowyat forum too?So here u hv a intention to ignore me and cheat me..

Again, if u are a good seller, contact me through watsapp..and settle my problem👍🏻

Did seller mentioned any personal warranty ?
Buyer should check kaw kaw during cod if buy a second hand item.
