Try changing your system locale :-

1. Goto --> Control Panel --> Region and Language --> Administrative --> Change System Locale --> Current System Locale --> [Select the correct location]

IF FAILS...

2. Goto --> Control Panel --> Region and Language --> Location --> Current Location --> [Select the correct Country]

Hope this helps. biggrin.gif

hi, there should no problem to view chinese characters in Windows 10. You should ask your friend to zip/rar them all first because I doubt that this is the sending tool that you guys are using have the unicode decoder issue. If still can't, then I can prefer your friend to register a free account in https://mega.nz/ then upload all the files to there. Then ask your friend share the download link for you to download.
