hi

i just bought my white mb for about a month
pc fair deal
(but then the upgraded model comes out.damn it)
owh
about my mb
several times when i switch it on
the green light for the isight automatically turns on
and then i open photo booth to check if i haven't quit dat app
but then the display for photo booth went all green
i have to shut it down and turn it on again
its really bothering me
can anyone whose familiar with this mb help?

The green light being switched on usually indicates that the isight is active... Try check whether any other applications besides photobooth is using the isight... Quite iMovie & iChat if they're running... Check also whether any other applications (if you've installed them) might be accessing the isight, e.g. the mirror widget, iAlertU, etc....

My iSight has gone bonkers once when I installed the iSight drivers in my parallels WinXP... It was still there in the hardware list but OS X sort of couldn't identify/use it.... After I reset the SMC everything was good...
