Wow... Since when Lazada allows sellers to rate reviews. I get it.. Some buyers can be nasty or overly fussy.. Posting negative review on something that is probably user problem. But that should be marked for review by Lzd team who can contact buyer and verify.. Not simply let the seller ban comments at will. How to trust reviews then?

I believe they slacking in this department. I did report a bad seller who refused to honor warranty. Even after they acknowledge the issue and apologized. The listing is still up.. I didn't want to make too much of a fuss about the item, cuz..well it's not fake. Just that seller doesn't want to honor the warranty. But at least, and I told em.. They should take some action towards the seller and have the listing edited to show no warranty. I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't have a warranty.

Eh.. no lah.. Your case isn't a severe one to warrant attention. Heck, even if it does, you were doing the legal & right thing by returning it to the sender. So if any will get prosecuted? It's the initial sender.

Try checking the lalalaxx and nst websites.. It'll involve a lot of trial and error to find a usable code.. If any. Not easy this days. IMO, if can wait for big sales days.. There should be a voucher then that you can use.

Unless it's s recent change to their SOP... It's not normal. As mentioned, normally, they'll just refund back to the card on file used to purchase. You can ask them to do just that. Unless they need bank account.. then that's normal.

I'm gradually moving over to Shopee... They've placed a silent ban on my account claiming I have dupes etc.. Clear cache, log out..uninstall and reinstall bla bla.. Been doing all that and the issue to make payment is still there. It's been over a week and they are still "investigating".. I used to be a strong proponent for Lazada.. Really hard-core.. Now? Nope. Shopee is winning the final price and engagement war.

Cuz Lzd restrictions... AFAIK, can't use it for topup.

It's in the terms and conditions.. If you the buyer, cancels the order.. That's a problem and grounds for the no refunds clause to kick in. You could try appealing, but it's easier to appeal and get it revalidated if it was the seller canceled or Lzd system glitch.

Like I said, you can appeal but don't hold your breath. The product descriptions was very clear. Impossibru to miss the parts about no refunds.. They mentioned it a few times. So legally? Nope, you won't get it back if they don't want to give. Now, morally or to promote being a reasonable platform? They should revalidate it. However, I do know in the past..they didn't revalidate, so money burnt.

This I'm not entirely sure. Yours still got chance cuz haven't received yet and seller is willing to play ball. Just screenshot your conversation and contact CS now.. Before it's delivered. So they are aware and begins the process of revalidation. Tell em to refund to wallet, they'll be more inclined that way.

Truly horrible. But what to do..? IMO, like the whole wallet funds can't be withdrawn, even I have to side with Lazada on this. Terms were quite clear.

What to do.. I too ranted back then about this. But luckily it was a seller canceling issue. So not my fault and they generated a new voucher for me. They did warn that if it was the other way around, that they wouldn't offer a replacement. Never bought a gift card since then.. Keep in wallet or not at all is safer.

Go read gift card description page.. States very clearly. Nonrefundable so many times... The way I understand it, if it's circumstances beyond your control, like seller refuse to ship and cancel or ships wrong product and you return it? They will revalidate, typically by giving a new voucher code of equal value. However, If buyer cancels or simply returns item cuz changed mind bla bla, no refunds or revalidate.

Buy Lazada gift cards at own risk.. Same applies to using wallet, once deposited.. Have to spend it on the platform. Ignorance is no excuse.

Already cheap.. Use till break.. Not even worth changing battery..

While I agree and love me some Seikos.. But the above? Cuz cheap and easily disposable? Not all cares greatly about what goes on their wrists. Some are just fine with whatever that "looks stylish" and tells time somewhat accurately.
