These brand names like Viewnet, TMT, etc are known for their brick and mortar shop, not online. Basically they only assigned a couple of staffs to help with the packaging, not really having a department that really dealt with online shopping. I also bought a SSD from Viewnet during 5.5 and they are not fast, but I still think we should give them some leeway since we're under e/f/cmco right now.
Had some issues with ViewNet myself before. But they bucked up. Friend bought something else from them during the 7/7 sale as well. Got delivered promptly. They started with a message to him saying things might get delayed. It didn’t. They even followed up with him to see if he got his parcel.
That there, is good customer service. Under promise, over deliver. It’s the same kind of good service when I step into their b&m.
I don’t know about TMT, but Viewnet has a dedicated online team. What’s more, they don’t rest on their “good image” and brush aside customers worries aside.
I respectfully disagree with you. Yes we’re under some kind of MCO…but we have been for almost two years now. As a big player, they should have adapted to this instead of pushing blame onto others. Case-in-point, ViewNet. They horribly messed up my order, I told them off for it. Probably happened to a few other people as well. What did they do? They turned around and made things right.
Big players like this should buck up, or lose their customers. I will not stand up for a company with shitty service and I show my support with my wallet. So do my friends.
I also make it my mission to spread this information to others. If a seller does not take care of their customers…then they’ll have it coming from them.
Of course YMMV.
If you decide to continue and support businesses like these…it’s your call. Your money after all.
As a fellow consumer, I find it my duty to inform others. The same like how I will actively deter anyone from using food panda, I too will actively deter anyone from using Thundermatch.
