Hey guys, anyone bought stuffs above RM500 and need to pay for custom clearance tax? Like 10% of the price something like that.

Or Lazada will handle for us? I have been ordering stuffs from overseas below RM500 and custom clearance always success.

Would like to know anyone here order more than RM500 from overseas.

You can search around this forum. Some threads discussing if purchase amount above RM500 will impose additional custom clearance tax fee..

i recently purchased a camera lens from lazada on 5/5 during their raya promo. The lens was RM1k cheaper than usual and the merchant actually detected the error and changed the pricing back to normal (RM5k) on 4/5 however on 5/5 12am, the raya promo price went back down to RM4k which i believed was an error. I proceed to purchase as this merchant is pretty reliable and i've bought from them before.

fast forward till today merchant is denying that it's a new item, mentioning that RM4k is a preowned item. I've screen shots of the above mentioned incident and then only merchant admitted that it's a mistake from their side. I've escalated to case to lazada as I do not want a refund but rather the lens. They should honor the price advertised no? Anyone has suggestions on what I can do in this case? thanks in advance
