U mean telco will knw whether it is hp or pc that connected to Huawei B618 if it is pc thn it will slow it down
I try LAN cable frm Huawei B618 to pc aso getting the same slow speed unless using hp/all mobile phones connected to Huawei B618 can get fast speed.

it's still depends on the telco and the tower how their applied their caps ....

mine hp is fast.. pc is slow n capped. different time, pc different speed.

if earlier morning2 when all sleep like 3am + above. pc speed are same as mobile speed test .

Deal breaker for unifi air i think....huhu...

from the FAQ for unifi air, you need to return the modem if you terminate after 2 years contract tho..

sim card only no contract
sim card + FREE modem 2 years contract

The modem is free so TM want it back. did it said the modem is Unifi lock ?

unpaid / late payment line barred

Unifi Air provide you 3 SIM cards? Can the additional sim cards use at smartphone for internet?

1 Sim put in huawei B618 , all my hp and pc connected to huawei B618 but only hp get fast speed , all pc and laptop slow speed even use LAN from pc connect to huawei B618 . Tats y it is weird , the telco tower itself can bypass the huawei b618 and identify u whether it is hp or PC and cap u

How about buying other 4g wireless router like tplink?

It is only 4G and not 4G+. Speed wise still loses to B618.

But then the download speed for pc wont be capped? Cos tplink download speed up to 300mbps o

If 4G only gives you 30Mbps and 4G+ gives you 100Mbps, that's the difference I'm referring to.

The cap for pc is different with time , let say non peak at mid9 thy will gv u full speed for pc but hp all time gv u full speed unless telco tower is congested. Also i try torrent on pc/hp it wont go up to 10Mbps , before reaching it ping will spike to 1k cause ur local network lagging but got a user say he get full speed on pc and hp , dl too full speed thn i think it is depend how the telco tower setting . I try 2 different area with different telco tower still same problem . Mb u can try it 1st since tm provide unifi air trial for a month .

Oh nice. Maybe will take the trial but need buy the tplink modem to test also haha

The 1 month trial period is standard given or need to request during application for unifi Air?
