Is Fedex scamming me? Custom Tax issue

Happened to me with DHL. I bought a pair of shoes from Europe with free shipping, paid RM300+ in total for it. However when arrived Malaysia DHL called me and say I have to pay RM120 in taxes + handling fee.
When I saw the receipt the shipping cost invoice was almost RM300 although I paid nothing for it. FML |
