Just noticed this thread. My total loan tenure & monthly installment didn't change at all when TS opened this thread (when the rate went up?) and also when it goes down few days ago.
Anything that I need to check?

QUOTE(Havoc Knightmare @ May 15 2019, 10:34 AM) RHB is lowering BR/BLR by another 0.05% effective today.. probably due to pressure from above so from 6.7% to 6.65% ?

Ok earlier this week my homeloan interest rate dropped from 4.5% to 4.5%. As of yesterday, went further down to 4.25%. So the further 0.05% drop is correct

My monthly installment amount haven't change although the rate went down, two times. Even the total tenure is also the same.

QUOTE(preducer @ Jun 6 2019, 05:58 PM) I got 2 letters, one after they increased the rate and one after they reduced to the current rate. Both installment amount is different I haven't received any letters in a longggggggg time now My indication of installment amount, interest rate & total\remaining tenure is just on the RHBnow website. So only flexi loan eligible for reduction?
Last time I also received letter if there's any adjustment to the rates. That was 3-4 years ago. Recently (1-2 years ago) no more.

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Feb 11 2020, 03:57 PM) on maybank semi flexi too, when rate dropped on previous 2 rounds, my monthly repayment remains same i also confused. called to my branch, say if no receive letter means no reduction ..wtf? .. if wan reduce payment, need to go branch and apply. i thought it is all done automatically this is ridiculous! QUOTE(toos99 @ Feb 11 2020, 04:49 PM) I stand corrected. It reduced today. i just checked on my rhb now account, the interest rate is reduced but not the monthly repayment amount

QUOTE(blibala @ Aug 12 2020, 08:30 PM) Anyone housing loan already reflected new amount based on revised interest rate? Mine still showing old amount based on pre-covid time I frequently checked in the online account. So, far mine is adjusted accordingly.
