I have visited the SC take a look at the Yaris, from front, it looks like the New Vios only slightly different. If you are not familiar with new vios, you will not be able to notice. Overall the size is larger than Jazz. I would say its closer to Mercedes A class and small abit. Off course, not same level with Mercedes for sure. Internal all same like vios. It should be more powerful than vios due to its smaller body.

For those asking whether is it worth to buy this or myvi, i would say Yaris looks larger or bulkier than new myvi for sure

After testing Rush, CHR, HRV, BRV, City, Vios, Aruz, MYVI, CX3, CX5 .

I think Yaris is very planted and for this price the spec top all the above i tested.

I dont like Vios as its too big and i only drive my wife and dont intend to have family.

I want to know too. Personally prefer manual. Because can change aircon settings by feeling with fingers and without taking eyes off from the road. If touchscreen, hard to change just by feeling

Referring to below picture, it shows the manual aircond knob on Yaris spec E which is currently selling in Thailand

Test drove gazillion times on both Iriz and Yaris, the noticable plus point from Yaris are the better NVH, Blindspot monitoring, larger boot space. 360 degree camera and other bells and whistle is negligible to be honest.

If you think topping up 25 to 30k is worthy for the brand name and the "plus points", then by all means go ahead 

Forgot to mention as well. The sound quality initially is very bad. But after tweaking with alot of setting. It rocks alot.
