Panasonic pun good Liao.
Dyson 4 what? Weak ass batt, charge 3 hours use 20 minutes. No thanks.
Get a robot vacuum instead plus a Panasonic.
Vacuum once with Panasonic then let the robot do daily.
Dyson is for dummies.

V10 is should be your backup vacuum not your main vacuum. You should buy their upright model or cylinder model before buying this model. It is not practical to own only this model because you will run out of battery before you could complete you vacuum job sweat.gif

value for money wise, sure not worth

i mean, how much better can a vacuum be, for it to be priced more than 5-10x normal ones?

as for robot vacuums, those i can vouch for.

Dyson = Apple of homeware. Overpriced af for what they really offer.

Only buy if you want your wife to show off to her meaningless friends and neighbours.

Any other cheaper brands get the job done tbh.

Hv tried. No it is not. Never even near. I hv a few n now ended up with dyson. Even in china, dyson is rank no 1 in small hone appliance in double 11 sales toppling other china brand.

Btw, most dyson are made in malaysia, now also hv in sg b Philipine. Never made in china.

Dont get the V10 at full price because V11 is coming.

Dyson Malaysia is best known for ripping customer for old product with MSRP.

If u get v10 for 3k not worth lah.
In SG HV also selling like 2k plus only.

V11 is better in every aspect though

Dyson offers 5 years warranty for main motor. So you should be worry free for the first 5 years. My sisters dc26 still going strong after 9 years. Mine dc24 already 7 years and dc52 4 years and counting.

My sister’s 7k roboclean went kaput in less than 5 years.

I use Xiaomi Roborock for vacuum tho, coz I too lazy to vacuum myself.

i guess if you like manual vacuum and like to do it everyday, dyson probably will worth the money in long run.

I see. That two rip vac only 2 years warranty if me recall correctly.

So somehow worth to invest Dyson for f needed.
*
Most brand offers only 1 or 2 years warranty. Warranty claim process for dyson pretty much hassle free. Their SC is near the NKVE damansara toll.

To me it’s worth my money buying dyson albeit it is overpriced. You can get few hundreds cheaper in SG but with SG warranty.

I hear the mopping function not that good..
How is it? Can clean stain from floor?

I currently using the vacuum only robot... Nice

Those heavy stain, still need to do manual mopping.

But overall, it is sufficient.

Previously, every weekend I mop till waist muscle pain. Now, I only need to do minor manual work.
Can sit back and relax.

I see. I will try if needed...
First time feel k also can get tio Racun..... LoL

Buy from sg not really worth it unless you JB people.
Because cross country warranty will cause some issue.
I have issue on refrigerator gift from sg friend. (small size put beside bed one)
And my company refused to repair at all even I pay.... And surely I won't sent to sg repair.... So I repair locally by small shop, still work till today lol

diffrent between V8 and V10 is the battery
V10 huge ass battery and a lot heavy
V8 small battery and lighter

once you try dyson u will never go back
using DC35 until now, only 15min battery time, but with that suction power, 15min enough to clean my house

I have been using Rainbow Vacuum for the last 14 years - good strong powerful still going strong.
2 weeks ago bought the V10 for portability - not bad but charging needs 3.5 hours for 1 hour straight use.

i use it enough to cover whole house, 3 floors. Don't need max suction then battery can last quite long. For me i use lowest strength is good enough to suck up all the cat fur haha. Never experience before like need to use and no battery. I charge when it reaches 1/3 bar. Never really monitor how long i need to charge it for

Didn’t know newer dyson handheld can last that long. Older model can only last for 15-20min. Only suitable for quick job like picking up food debris.

Now using xiaomi vacumn robot with no complain.

I buy Dyson Copy.
Dibea D18 from Taobao. After all the rebates and shitz during 11.11. my cost per unit is RM190

Main requirement is just to have handheld. If you got wires. it is really troublesome.
Suction wise wise, it cannot beat Dyson for sure, but I just need a cheapass vacuum to suck out the dust on the floor. Which, this cheapo vacuum does quite well.

I have 3biji. Standup, ball and v10. If anyone in the house has dust allergies they are worth every cent. Otherwise normal vacuum will do. The ball at 7yrs going strong. V10 alone is useless unless you live in a studio.

Get Dibea.

Dyson equivalent model when I was scouting was inferior in that you had to keep pressing the switch for it to run, in order to conserve the battery life. Dibea was just press once and the motor would continue to run. So your fingers and hands would get sore in using Dyson but not Dibea.

I think latter Dyson models followed the Dibea design.

Dyson of course is much better, but in terms of price performance ratio, you're much better off with Dibea.

Dibea performance is -40% of Dyson, but in terms of price is -80% of Dyson. You decide.

Worth! Bought my v8 for 2.4k when v9 released.
With 40mins normal mode / 13mins turbo mode is enough for me to suck the whole house clean.

Battery still ok after 1 yr.
Can suck here suck there suck up suck down, suck carpet & bed. Can wash filter clean clean, xcept need to replace hepa filter whenver u feel the time up.
Only disadvantage is unable to do the wet stuff only.

this is true. those cordless model is for backup. i’m using Kàrcher WD 5 premium as main and Kàrcher VC 5 cordless premium as backup. some how, i find this brand more reliable since they are the specialist, coming out with a lot of industrial grade product.

V8 carbon fibre suction power is stronger than tha V10. I asked the guys at the Dyson store. Also when Lazada Dyson flagship store was having a promo- it was 2099.00 for the carbon fibre.

More accessories too. My old vacuum cleaner has been overdue for replacing so I tested a friend’s v7 first.

Impressive so I got the carbon fibre v8 and it’s super good. If you have pets... trust me it’s worth every sen

and here i am with my rm100+ electrolux vacuum. it gets the job done.

i can't brain why people want to spend 3k on a vacuum.

I had the same thought. Until I tested my friend’s Dyson v7

I have pets and they sometimes come inside and it’s madness when there is sand.

My old Sanyo needed replacing and I was considering an Electrolux.

Ended up with V8 Carbon Fibre by Dyson. Best purchase I’ve ever made. So happy that it gets all the bits of sand and dog hair etc

My requirement is water base or the dust bag less....I hate it always kena allergy when I clean it.. so am thinking of getting another cylinder one and sort the problem out

Hey bumped into this when i'm searching for wireless vacuum and there's big promotions coming on lazada for Dyson. My biggest problem is dog hair and i've tried many other brands and types of vacuum but am not really satisfied with the results as most of the dog hair would tangled on the vacuum or brush head. Would Dyson V8 or V10 having same issue with dog hair (tangle on the brush head)? I saw there are different types of head for Dyson, which one is most efficient for cleaning dog hair? Thanks~

there are quite a few of attachments included in your V8 V10 V11 absolute.

Those non motor one is suitable.

Even with torque driven head is fine because you can take out the roller and clean it.

actually was reading at UK reviews of dyson cordless vacuum last year. many commented the battery degrading quite badly after around 2-3 years of usage. the cost of changing the battery should be the price of a dibea vacuum if i remember correctly.

I'm using the Dyson Cordless V6
been using it for 4 years now this is what I can say

1. Spare parts is plenty including 3rd party/ OEM/ not ori parts just to save some $$$
2. I have replace battery 2x (not original...) it still work like new
3. DURABILITY!!! it will not break it is strong
4. It suck!!! it suck better than my HUGE Panasonic vac...
5. I can clean my 1300sqft apartment in 30min or less vs old Pana Vac took me 1hr....

Worth every penny cause quality... china got knockoff but no parts also die cause when battery expired you throw the whole vacuum away

I wonder why people want such a powerful vacuum cleaner for.
What is the purpose of a vacuum? To suck up dust.
So if a cheaper vacuum does the job just fine, why go for a super powerful vacuum that costs so much more.
A total waste of energy and electricity.

Different... if it suck strong you only need 1 pass instead of moving the vacuum front and back and front just to make sure the floor is clean...

True also.
But cheaper vacuums also have sufficient suction power to get the job done easily.
Cheaper as in cheaper than Dyson. Not those really cheap and weak vacuums.
I feel Dyson is just too overpriced and providing excess power that is not really required for home use.
For commercial use, of course different story.
Dyson is just a tool for a rich man to increase his bragging rights...

It is expensive for DYSON

but once you use it you will know why other vacuum cannot even compare

1. I use 3 big vacuum before none can challenge
2. I also use electrolux cordless but the battery die and suction is weak for cordless

Dyson is portable but it suck like those huge vacuum and I save alot of time using it... like every time I vacuum I save minimum 30min per session...
also I can bring down to my car park to vacuum my car interior... also can use to suck dustmite from bed with attachment...

now I use it for 4 years liow and i already sold all my old vac away

if it can suck coins and small rocks (sediments), then it is good already.. If not, while vacuum, you got to picked those coins/rocks manually with your hand or sweeper ....

Mm...yup, for those who have used it will probably be able to feel the difference.
For me, I am currently using a Philips cyclone model which is sufficient for my requirement.
BTW, you must have a really huge house. I can finish vacuuming one level of my house within 10 mins with this Philips vacuum. biggrin.gif

Totally agree with you, once you used Dyson, you will know it is worth it.
I have used 3 cordless vacuum.

1) Electrolux rapido
Pros :
- Easy maneuver
- Feel lightweight
- Able to stand itself
- Charging dock without wall drilling
- Relatively cheaper than other cordless vacuum

Cons:
- Not able to enter underneath of sofa/cupboard
- Dust filteration not so good, there is a bad smell from the discharge air after accumualted dust

2) Roidmi F8
Pros:
- Able to reach underneath of sofa/cupboard
- Good battery life
- Short charging time, 2.5hr
- Come with lots of accessories head, includes the mattress motorized head.

Cons:
- Relatively small dust bin, required frequent emptying after 2-3 vacuum trip
- Empyting bin could be very challenging, dust will fly all over the place.
- Suction strong but somehow it tend to leftover debris and small stone behind.
- The motorized head difficult to suck those floor edges due to the design of the head

3) Dyson V10
Pros :
- Strong suction
- The soft roller head really doing good job for hard flooring, it gives you the feel like the floor is been mopped.
- Best bin emptying mechanism
- Larger dust bin

Cons:
- Feel heavy, especially when u lift up to vacuum higher place
- Pricey

Thats all my humble opinion after using these vacuum.

Hope this help.

Its just normal stuff with questionable plastic build. not even nicely design as dust built up will make it non operatable.
work great as sucktion maintain until complete batt flat.
would i rekomen? only if theres huge sale or disco. retail price just for sake of buying? Nope

Lately there's this new (and expensive) kid on the block, the Panasonic MC-BJ980. Went to Harvery Norman, was browsing Dyson and the salesman pushed me this over V8/V10.

RM3k but not much reviews online so far, the design itself looks nicer than Dyson and its 200w. Anyone has any experience with this?

Bought my v8 at a discount when they were about to launch the v10. Don't regret the purchase as it is very flexible and caters to all my vacumming needs.

i bought Dibea F20 on april. I have v10 at home, i feel dibea better in terms of suction and battery. Not to mention the price like so much way cheaper than Dyson. i have dibea for 4 months already and i realise i use dibea more than dyson. Dyson too noisy and too heavy. i got it at https://www.lazada.com.my/products/dibea-ma...XxoCenkQAvD_BwE

Otherwise I would look like a sorhai buying an overpriced crap.

Using Rainbow... been 15 years same old machine. Costed me 7K.....

For convenience sake, cant be compared with Dyson V10 or any cordless, but mine doubles as air purifier. During hazy days, works fine as an air purifier.

Ayam cant afford dyson.

So getting a xiaomi dreame v10. Cost rm900...probably even cheaper now.

Quite good. Performance wise not as superb as dyson, but ok la 1/3 of the price

I have both v8 Carbon Fiber and Digital Slim 😂

not sure if anyone noticed v8 Carbon Fiber have better suction power than v10 (155AW vs 150AW) but it's only available in Singapore, that time I bought it at Lazada during promotion at RM1999.

My vacuum robot already in store room ever since, vacuum robot cant reach all area of the house especially area with cable, chair etc you need to clear the obstacles from the floor first, I might as well vacuum myself sorry cant stand some area that they can't reach and with dirty floor.

Dyson cordless vacuum so dam convinience whenever you see dirt on the floor just pick up your dyson stick and vacuum right away it just too easy to use its effective and efficient.

It can easily convert to handheld vacuum to vacuum your car, the spider web in your house, your bookshelf, your bed etc

Honestly I love Dyson cordless vacuum. If you have money to spare then I highly recommend Dyson vacuum.

There is a cons when convert to handheld vacuum.(flex hose) You don't have free hand but to keep press the button.

Thinking to design a holding clip to hold the button so got freehand to do others thing.

I read somewhere someone complain about the same thing say that don't have trigger hold function or button.

You mean the extension hose? I hardly use that, normally i use soft dusting brush, flexi crevice tool and combination tool if i clean cabinet or car.

Flexi crevice tool will be handy but most models do not have this.

I get the flexi hose from 3rd party.

The reason Dyson vacuum don’t have hold button or is to save battery. But it not handy.

Thinking to make a clip to hold the button.

Extension hose and flexi crevice tool are different thing, if you just need to hold the trigger the velcro strap for cable should do the trick, you can strap it to the handle or the stick after use.

now i have harvey norman voucher wan expire but dunno wat to buy. i am thinking of getting a dyson to replace my f8 which is dead the motor. i wanna ask, is v8 slim sufficient for normal cleaning? next step up is v10 absolute which cost almost 1k more. this is for 2nd floor bedroom cleaning mostly cos i have normal vacuum for living room etc.

i wanna ask v10 absolute price is same like digital slim, but digital slim is v11 motor.. wat is the catch to buy v10 at rm2699?
