I have had a fibre downtime. I have agreed to have your staff come at 3.30PM on 5th of April (including tm).

10 AM your staff called me and asked if they could attend to my issue at that moment itself. I said no as I was busy.

Approximately 11.15 AM, a man who claimed to be TM staff came to ring my doorbell multiple times and asked if they could fix the issue I've reported.

My brother who was coincidentally heading out for his classes spoke to them. He asked me if I had appointment with Maxis and/or TM. I said yes, unknown to the fact that TM staffs were at my door.

He let them in and notified me again that the staffs are doing their thing and asked if I could supervise them instead.

Here's the best part - I said not to come at 10 am 11 am as I need to sleep. I have arranged for them to come at 3.30 in order for me to get enough rests as I work nights. Now, they have came to my house at unauthorized time and I could not get my rest. I had to take cough syrup in order to sleep.

And I ended up going to work late.

What kind of idiots do you have in your workforce?

I have lodged a police report regarding this matter and as I understand, the SOP is that maxis staff (contractor) will have to be on site when TM staffs are there as well. This is a breach of SOP and I don't know if the men who came to my house have stolen anything.

This is unbecoming of you guys and it's not the first time TM staffs are here without Maxis contractor.

Explanation, please. And I am seeking compensation in the damage done by Maxis and TM both.

I would also want maxis to issue an apology letter for the incident.

How to decline when I'm asleep and I wasn't aware who's at the door? My brother was leaving for uni when these fellas came barging in. He came to ask me about maxis appointment when I was still asleep (11am when tm came) . Mana la tau got anyone at the front door. An hour before the incident, I've received a call from maxis staff that they wanna come early. I already told the maxis staff not to show up at that time.

Tau tau je they are in my house trying to fix the issue at the wrong time, without maxis con on site (it's SOP, apparently) and they didn't fix the issue at all.

I wouldn't be bothered much. They've provided back up internet so I've still got internet. Otherwise my data is still unlimited. Not a big concern la actually about the willingness they wanna fix or not. Got something else I've learned when they came to fix yesterday, and it was told by these guys la.

Apparently, there's not enough ports in this area but theyve got more services than they should cater to. What they do is they remove one of the services from the ports.

So when the guy that kena removed reports, they remove another person to fix the first guy punya issue. How true? I can't be 100% sure.

Partly it is my fault for not letting him know, also I know he wouldn't be home (at 3.30) that's why I didn't tell him. None is his fault la, he's a passerby caught in a shitty situation je. Besides, so many times maxis came to fix issues, none of it in advance of so many hours. Usually only 30 minutes or an hour. Plus I told maxis guy who called me not to come early (he called at 10) yet tm turned up. Cannot lor. As said before its against their SOP, maxis must be on site first before tm.

Since they have entered your house and started fixing the issue, just let them carry out their work. What damage has been done to you? If it is late to work, this is rather an excuse. Have some sense in responsibility.

You can always continue your sleep after they finish fixing the issue and I suppose they only use less than 1 hour to fix the issue. Just learn to tolerate man, it's not very wise of you to make a police report like this. Police has more problems to solve than your puny little issue. Report to MCMC makes more sense. After all, it is partly your fault because there was no internal communication between you and your brother. You could have just said you both are not free to let them in that time. And I am pretty sure they will come back later at 3.30. But you let them in to fix the job. Then, you pissed them off when they were fixing the issue halfway, and you expect them to return to you at 3.30? Very unlikely man.

Dude, I work 12 hours, if I'd be able to sleep another 6 hours Ill be fine. I could have arranged for them to come at a later date but the back up internet is kinda slow, I need some faster speed when I'm accessing work remotely. I have arranged for them to come at 3.30 because I figured I wouldve enough rest from 8am to 3pm. And nap if they're done early, otherwise, would just head to office an hour earlier to prep work stuffs.

Also, I didn't piss them off. I even returned their equipment. The tm guy said "I have also fixed your issue. It should now be up and running" but no, they undone what they did after. He even apologized for coming early. I said it's fine, have him on his way so he could attend to the other issues.

Maxis guy didn't even show up at 3.30. Also, I didn't even called him to screw him over the matter. Pretty much chill and lodged a complaint with maxis officially on the incident.

Only after that I couldn't go back to sleep until about 2 plus. That also I had to take meds to force myself to sleep.

I understand that you may had a rough 12 hours working day and wants to resolve the issues according to your plan. Just tolerate lo, report to police doesn't fix the issue. You might as well take the time you report to police to rest better. Police usually won't bother this kinda case.

100%. I was on the phone with maxis at the time. I just collected their equipment and returned to him. I just said bye after he told me he already fixed it. I swear on me life I never even raised my voice at him lol.

Also, as said I was on the phone with maxis but he kept talking to me asking for his stuffs back. I said kejap kejap yet he kept pestering me. Pelik fella. Not like I ignored him and I returned it (actually one item) within 30 sec when he came back around.
