bought Nova 4e. came today. looks good but disappointed.

a) unable to display network speed at status bar

b) unable to access secret code to lock LTE.

c) setting list too limited. feels like u're not in control of the phone.

others not yet test. gonna test more tomorrow.

I bought nova 4e too, so far so good. quite happy with the camera, screen and 6g + 128gb, with price 1.1k these are quite good already

I found how to display the network speed. Now I found another problem, probably this is for all Huawei products.

The Twin App (dual app, app clone, whatever) only allows a specific list of apps. I want to clone my shopee, lazada etc etc, but it doesn't allow. Fck. My xiaomi allows me to clone any apps I like. Disappointed.


Ps: battery also drains very fast compare to xiaomi. 20% in 2 hrs. Just normal browsing. And I already restrict many apps from running background. Sien

nice review dark side of huawei honor nova.
phone reviewer just care with camera and game only. everything else they dont care. everything so good else no more new huawei unit for them.
huawei using their own kirin soc some code and app for android tweaking may not work

nice phone..smaller screen and light weight

battery really drain at night. even at night, drains 3% overnight. xiaomi never drop even 1%, and I own redmi note 4. even after 2 yrs plus, never drop 1% at night. sien all xiaomi fault dowan sell redmi note 7 pro in Malaysia

After 2 weeks plus, confirm the phone is not battery friendly. Battery draining is real. And here I set my screen reso to HD instead of FHD to save battery, stop background apps from functioning and even set ultra power saver at night.

Still at night, when I set that, it drains 1% of my battery, which is around 334 mah. Compared to xiaomi redmi note 4 which after 2 years, will not drain 1% even without ultra power saver. In short, EMUI is a very heavy UI compared to MIUI.

Add on another problem. When phone is set to power saver, the phone apps will not sync with your google account. A bit turn off as you need to masuk app (such as gmal or outlook) and wait for it to refresh.

Hi has the nova 4e lag so far? Planning to buy a phone below 1k.. nova 4e lowered down their price recently...

No lag so far. Occasional Pubg mobile legend and background apps. But if you want a good battery pack phone, this phone is not suitable.

Also, the phone 4G+ is different from other phones. This phone, when your telco reach a high enough speed, 4G+ will show. This means that it doesn't lock to 2 bands in your network to get 4G+. I'm not expert in this, but it's not really a good phone for this and the battery pack.
