Got myself the Chloe classic perfume today.

A lot of people usually get the idea that I'm buying it for my girlfriend or a female friend, but they get surprised when I tell them I'm buying it for myself.

I currently have two perfume brands, Victoria's Secret and Chloe.

I know quite a number of guys who buy perfumes over cologne too.

Thing is, a lot of colognes are too strong to my liking, even the ones recommended by the users under Men's fashion. The ones that I like are rather generic brands that you can find in Guardian or Watsons etc.

I think there is a misconception about what is perfume and cologne.

Colognes are actually used to describe its perfume oil concentration rather than calling it a specific scent.

There are four types of concentration:

Eau de Cologne

Eau de Toilette

Eau de Parfum

Parfums / Extrait

Anyways, perfumes are genderless if you chose to rock it.

Perfume is just a type of scent. Not specifically referring to a particular gender.

If I'm not mistaken, some genetic brands that you can find in Guardian or Watsons are Polo, Armani (probably) and Playboy.

They have a much lighter scent for me.
