Treadmills are quite costly. Any reason why you'd want a unit at home? Can always use that investment to enrol in gym instead though? Gym has various equipments that you can use to maximize your workout.

I guess whatever works for you hmm.gif do consider weights training/ functional training too other than purely cardio. You can build and tone up your muscles while you lose from running.
