What is the usage of Front AUX in a cd player for Sony CDX-V4800-VCD and also pioneer 2950? I was thinking to get a new HU for my car and I kinda confuse with this Front AUX.. For headphone? Or Mic?

Aux in
Means Auxiliary Input. or Secondary Input An example would be plugging your Mp3 player onto Aux In. Or like you mentioned a microphone. |

If you have a mp3 player, you can buy a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack. plug it into your mp3 player headphone or lineout and plug it into the aux.
