hi all.......me just join PS3 community...

1.u need to create a folder PS3 in ur thumbdrive...
2.then inside folder PS3 create another folder UPDATE
3.copy the update file to UPDATE folder

Do take note ur PS3 and UPDATE folder in caps...

@rx300 - can...it can read thumbdrive or memory card...i always download the firmware n update through thumbdrive...i think its faster..

i use thumbdrive n memory card before..still think my thumbdrive faster..maybe cos my memory card is those old type...

i am quite sure its not possible...else the EU ppl would have done it becos it cost much more for PAL machines (n without EE)

i believe Region 1 is uncensored while Region 3 (which follows the japan version) is censored...

censored - no beheading...

wah...u selling all ur games ah??

SORI...I Always tot Aus is Region 2 n not Region 4 ...

the cheapest i asked was RM1690...but it may be becos my fren's shop....

yes..but wat is weird is onli certain bestbuy/target/circuit city....some sitll selling at old price... i tot these chain shops have a standard pricing??

i downlaoded from gamespot..no need paid member leh...normal member oso can....u go stream live...next to stream live can download it instead....about 400+MB...u need to download 3 separate conference....

Nintendo - 1GB (high quality)

dont know y nintendo punya is high quality,,,

@rx330 - i went to amazon US n UK n check leh..Planet earth for DVD is 5discs but for Blu ray is 4 discs.....

blu ray is region free.

bluray is suppose to be region free regardless of movie or games.....

initial studio (FOX i ) was the onli one with problems...paramount discs r all region free...

A/1 North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

B/2 Europe, Greenland, French territories, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

C/3 India, Nepal, Mainland China, Pakistan, Russia, Central and South Asia.

certain BR movies come with Region 1,2,3 or A/B/C..those r region free...also those without any codes r region free....

@anyone interested in planet earth bluray - both amazon.com n amazon uk states tat it is for all regions....dont know tru or not...but both oso 4 discs..so grab the US version as i believe its cheaper....

if got Sony brand, the price will be at least double of wat other brands r offering... ....

oh can i ask..the hard disk that we use for PS3, does it have to be SATA or normal PATA pun boleh.....??but speedwise big difference ka??

i was thinking of changing but the thought of re-downloading it again can kill me...
