is ur resistance US version? actually does the game version matter? my console as a HK one...

hmm..wanted to try Resistance too...how to check what version my console is anyway? So if wanna buy...get the asia version of Resistance?

why do they have to make it that way.... thats sad! n i had to pay extra for that game! that sucks... got bored playin single player 3 times... guess there aint much choice but to try an Asian verion of Resistance.. just for online.... that sucks...

Note: While the following issues are known to be present in the Resistance: Fall of Man gaming experience, we (Insomniac Games) will do what we can to address them, however we make no guarantees as to when or if they will be fixed.
    * Users in Hong Kong/Taiwan/Korea with PS3s must use copies of Resistance from Hong Kong/Taiwan/Korea if they want to play online.  This is due to some last minute changes to that region's server, and it is likely that you will not ever be able to connect online with a PS3 from this region without a disc from the same region
    * Some users have reported corrupt save files after reaching specific points.
    * There may be a few ways to get out of a few of the levels. Please don't share these locations with people until we can fix them.  Please message an admin on these forums to report them.
    * The stats server has been acting up recently and it may tell you that your stats in unranked games, ranked games, or both are all 0.  Don't worry, it hasn't lost your stats, usually if you try to view your stats again they will come back.
    * The "Elite Soldier" (10 Kill streak) medal and the "Assassin" (20 kill streak) medal are only being awarded for games that are either Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch.  The latest patch implements the first half of a fix for this issue, the second half is a server side fix which we will be implementing at a later date once we're sure the worldwide servers are running smoothly.
    * If your buddylist is full (there is a 100 buddy limit), then you will receive a nonspecific error when attempting to add, invite, or accept new buddies.
    * **Fixlocalhost** is a message that appears in game when somebody quits out using the PS button.
    * Defender ribbons are not being awarded in CTF games.
    * Human vs. Human TDM is currently not available in ranked searches.
    * Occasionally the game will crash with numbers on the screen that resemble, but not exactly, this:

      Game has to be reset, and there are no work-arounds at this time. Issue is known and being looked into.
    * Occaisonally due to connection issues, players will load into conversion games in spectator mode.
    * Some users have reported a loss of audio and visual effects.  There is no specific cause for this.
    * The server is having some problems with Clan invites and Leadership reassignments.  Please just try it a few times.
    * The "Mute Voice Chat" option in the multiplayer options exhibits finicky behavior and may not necessarily mute random players like it is supposed to.
    * Once in a while, a game will launch immediately into the second round and skip the first.
    * Players who late join into a party that is already searching/joining a game can cause problems.  The late joining player may end up on the opposite team from the rest of the party.  The late joining may see the race of the teams inverted.  The late joining player may cause problems with round balancing.  To avoid complications, if you are in a party and observe someone join the party while the leader is searching for a game, please request that the party leader back out of the search and begin a new search.

are you on LCD TV ?? if yes, then that is the normal behavior for some LCDs when they try to emulate blacker screen, in the process the LCDs backlight will auto dim. On some LCDs, the transition of the backlight are pretty smooth but on some the transition are very obvious .

Not that much of the problem actually since it doesn't happen when playing game or view pic,view movie on PS3.Also happen when loading a game and the PS3 logo come out.
Just wondering why does it happen.
