Tuu laaa...I was super busy these past few days...got no time to login....I tried to track back the past few post...but still nothing points to lightning69 being banned...is it in this thread or other thread?

Well, I think he just like to see us 'defend' or 'protect' whatever things he has said about PS3....He just enjoy provoking is...maybe he just do it for fun...

But I don't know...that's just me judging a book by it's cover...So Lightning69, if you are reading this...hope you never 'ambik hati' for judging you by your cover...

But still...how the heck was he banned? Is it by unanimous vote of other members?...cos I'm sure that'll be the easiest way...



Well...on with PS3 show...

I've beaten the Demo of Folklore...I have to say the game looks BEAUTIFUL....to me...the are direction and the creature plus the world is just breathtaking...

Maybe it's just me...I have a soft spot for fantasy game in the vein of Folklore....Really am looking forward for this game....thinking of adding it to my 'must have' list.

Hmm..I'm currently playing Jeanne D'Arc for PSP(if you onw one that is)...which is a turn based rpg from level 5 (the guys who brought Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy).

I'm like into the 5th or maybe 6th battle and I'm finding it to be great...So maybe that will satisfy your need for a turn based rpg till a new ne came out for PS3....

And don't forget Final Fantasy Tactics will be out for PSP...with a reworked translation....here's an example...taken from 1up.com

p/s: sorry for the slight off topic...I know this is a PS3 thread not PSP...but I just couldn't help it...these are two great game...and to top it off Jeanne D'Arc is only US$30..which means it's a budget title....so we can get it cheap...

I agree with you. What ever he did or post about PS3 in general is his god given right. I would very much fight for him to exercise his right to post here regarding PS3 news. And to add, I never said he should be banned or it's good that he's banned. I was surprised because the internet supposed to be a place where we can say anything we want (figuratively speaking).

I myself enjoys very much during the early days of 'debating' with him regarding PS3 issues. I believe in the end we (or maybe only me) agree to disagree. After a long while I don't really read his post since I've somehow have the impression that he likes to 'provoke' many of the PS3 owners here and he don't really want a meaningful debate. And since there are no way for me to get him not to do it anymore...I decided to ignore him altogether.

What is so wrong with these people being unhappy with the news...? If I hear say 100 people in Japan died in a big earthquake...and it makes me sad....Is it wrong...Or maybe another news that the US bombed a house in Iraq and 70 civilian died...and I got really mad...Is it wrong?

And for example...of course I'm mad because EA was too lazy to code a proper PS3 game till the framerate is capped a 30fps...it gave PS3 a bad name...simply because they are being lazy...is that wrong?

What wrong is when people totally ditch the fact that these devs are lazy and just simply said the PS3 is 'teh shit'. Who's the narrow minded person now. The person who thinks that 'maybe the devs are lazy' or the person who thinks that the ps3 is 'teh shit' without even considering that the devs or maybe even Sony SDK is not good enough for devs may play a part in it. To me I'm open to everything but please do some homework rather than just simply copy and paste then said A is bad and B is Good.

Also, what makes you said the people here are immature and etc? And what makes you think Lightning is honest and the others are not? are you like me....judging people by it's covers...?

And why do you think that others is not honest when they said PS3 performance is comparable to 360? or that it is not expensive? you've got no evidence to say that the rest are not honest or at least "as honest as" lightning69. They believe in their stand as much as Lightning believed it his and they are honest about it....you wouldn't know unless you can read their mind. And please prove that these people (myself included) are dishonest or at the very least not 'as honest as' Lightning69.

And lastly...I think that your analogy of the whole situation akin to Malaysia Parliament is totally retarded. I could simply said otherwise...i could just said that he just another 'yes man' who has no guts and balls and d*** and just 'kow tow' those who is anti-ps3 or to those who felt cheated into buying a PS3 or to those who still feel the need to validate that buying a ps3 was the right choice...

The rest is just the same...fighting for what they believe...what if they believe that PS3 is comparable to 360...or if they really really believe that a PS3 not expensive? It's what they believe...You can't say Lightning69 got balls if he believes in himself but then when others also believe in themselves you said they've got no balls...

If you want please give a better analogy and personally, I find that the bloggers around the country are a much better opposition that the one we have in the parliament.

Downloaded and played it this morning till finish...

The game was great and refreshingly different that any other next gen offering.......but I find it too silly for my taste...

here is why I thisnk it's silly...you can either 'dive' in slow mo...ot just stand and use the slow mo effect....but if you 'dive' you'll get more style points....

So I tend to just 'dive' around 'all the time'....to shoot people...even people at point blank in front of me...hahaha..even funny when I just think about it...

But later in the demo...you can do other stuff apart from diving...like sliding on a table...or 'ride' a trolley...all while shooting people in slow mo...which is great..but then...what I would do is ride the trolley forward and then back and then forward again till I kill all the baddies...and then it started to look silly again....

Don't get me wrong it's all fun and great...just like watching an action movie that great but a bit over the top action..that may look silly.

Other than that you can shoot stuff on top of the the badies to make it fall on the baddies which will earn you extra style points...which is great for variety...

Later you'll have another super power...can't remember the name..but something like a zoom in shot...which is super fun to pull off....I really like the way it was done...

All in all it's a great game...After you beat the normal difficulty of the demo, you'll unlock the Hard difficulty together with another super power...the barrage I think...Haven't tried that yet...will try it tonight....maybe...

I write panjang2 about the game but you only commented on the last sentence...which is something not about the game plak tu... hehehe...

The 'diving' mechanics really look silly....but fun though...

But the BD version with the movie is only for Limited Edition version of the game...it's not included in the normal retail version. By saying limited...it's apparently really limited...I've heard that 1up.com mentioned that it'll be like 25k to 50k units only...

So if you want that version...better preorder it....if not it'll be like bioshock limited edition...if not preordered...there will no no chance of getting it on retail.

I think this is viable to do laa....Deposit will be like RM 250.... and renting will be 20-30 per week....and they can rent only one game at a time..if they run away with the game pun they will lose the deposit and we can use the deposit to buy back the game.

Even if not for business...for forum members still can do...if the thing is damaged up to the point of no longer usable...then the member have to pay the the replacement cost la....

Framerate issues?....I can see sometimes the frames dropped a bit but it's not in any way affect the gameplay.
