1hp 9000btu/h is rubbish, 1hp 9700btu/h is good

The only AC u need to get is Panasonic, don't get anything else

Both but outdoor is more noisy than indoor. You got a good deal for 2.5hp, I gotten mine from ID during renovation for RM1.8k - 1.5HP

Been using for more than 1 year for 1.5hp Hisense. The compressor is very noisy when compared to Japanese brands like Daikin, Panasonic and Mitsubishi. Samsung also very noisy compressor so not worth buying the normal range.

The Hisense I bought is the normal non-inverter. You can hear the compressor noise from the outside if it is running. Indoor is okay. My suggestion is if your budget is tight and you are prepared to take the risk in terms of durability and not bothered about the sound outside your house ie would not disturb your neighbors go ahead with Hisense.

If for long term use, it is within your budget and you are particular about noise issue outside then stick with Daikin. The other point is now of days installer are Malays and Bangla so quality of work is terrible. Daikin has their own service team which may be more expensive but you hope that the service is better.
