This is the first time Apple does not conpromiuse specs for smaller iPad mini comparing to iPad Air. Exact same spec except no Smart Keyboard support but this function is totally not important to me haha.

It has the highest ppi among all ipad after all even better than iPad Pro. Haha.

Many may say with the new iPhone XS Max the iPad mini maybe redundant. However, it is not the case. One can easily see that iPad mini the screen size, on number may look not Super big difference with the max one but the difference is quite significant in real.

I personally think these 2 are very diff product and target very different set of people.
If you love the Mini form factor and it portability, you will not look at the Air.
If u suddenly found yourself wanting a larger screen and slightly more modern form factor (with that slightly small bezel), then get the iPad Air. 

By the way, Air could be better with the new IOS features of split screen, video on top your screen etc. It even better IF Apple ever redesign their iOS specifically for iPad...and call it pOS?

airpod gen 2 has been out.
iMac with upgraded spec has been out.

only possiblity for the coming event is to release new macbook with bigger screen??

all the devices with just spec bump did not get announced thru the event but receive quiet upgrade on website.
it should mean, if they are really going to announce any new hardware, it must be redesigned one. else, they would have already announced now.

no surprised actually. if it is iphone, one can finish even the 256GB model within 2 to 3 years time. but ipad, unlikely becos ipad is mainly media consumption device and not capturing devices.

i just made my order of ipad mini 64GB WiFi model. haha. delivers 1 to 4 April.
i am on 128gb ipad mini 2 but i know i am not making full utilization of the storage. i do have video files on the ipad but they are mostly idle and i only watch it to kill time if i have no internet connection to stream video. haha.

Got 4 already still can use.
