Imo Pro-motion is not a concern for pencil usage.. I used ipad pro before change to ipad mini.

But, for smoothness of the UI, yes I noticed jittery in transition of display, which initially I wanted to say that the ipad performance isn't great, but then there is no lag when using apps, so I gues it was purely due to my eyes got so used to pro-motion display..

As for apple pencil usage, I can't noticed any difference compared to my experience using ipad pro 11"

my back case ordered from aliexpress last week seems like still long way to come. now just using smart cover protecting the front. and just now it slipped from my lap in car and went under car sit.. i think there is some light scratches at back now oh well

no more worries the home button will be worn out

Looking at the trend between ipad 11 and 12.9", if there is ipad mini pro it will be priced somewhere 800 lower than ipad 11.. So it will be around 3.2k at base, perhaps

Actually what makes an ipad pro a pro model?

It seems newer non-pro ipad having comparable spec to older ipad pro. So actually a pro is just having latest processor, a tad more ram, and better camera?

So to me it doesn't has to be a pro model, as long as during usage it doesn't not feels inferior i.e lags or unsatisfying performance. So far this ipad mini is doing well, and the price tag is wayy cheaper.. So I don't need a pro model

no it was not with keyboard, just ipad + smart folio case + pencil 2..

i know right.. i was almost cancel selling too thought just wanna live with it.. but somehow got decent offer.. but to be honest, even at 4500 for a less than 4 months ipad pro bundle is very good for the buyer. but its just we are living in the era of lowballer. a.k.a online selling platform.. everything wanna lowball only at some rare instances will find a buyer that appreciate things for what its worth

Just received back case ordered from aliexpress. But it doesn't fit well with smart cover. Lol.. What a bummer. Will cut it a bit tmrw

its kinda lame can’t see much casing on sell locally. mostly need to buy from china. can try look in shoppe, but also mostly overseas seller. takes 2 weeks to arrive

After cut.. Its an ugly work done but now smart cover can sit properly. Lol

At least now feels safer to throw this ipad around

it is. i’m happy to change from 11” ipad pro. although costs me some money. but now this is more portable, hence more usage time, hence more worth the money spent. plus i know how the pro feels like already, so i’m not itchy to get the pro anymore.

From pro, yes downgrade. Ipad mini is noticeable slower.. But, ipad pro is the smoothest machine I ever experienced. So snappy.. Faster than any computer I known in terms of doing tasks

That being said, ipad mini is not lame at all. It is capable to deliver. Does not lag or hang. If does not compared to ipad pro, it is actually a very good tiny machine
