to those of you using paperlike sp, how does you feel about it so far?

to me, this sp is actually very good quality. after months now, it still sticked firmly on the screen, almost like no sp.. no scratch, no sticking out.. it really gives me peace in mind.. so the high price paid actually feel worth it.. i still have my second piece not yet use, dunno when will need to use that biggrin.gif

it works to show location, but yeah not super accurate. but there is still location mechanism in the ipad, because else some location function won’t works, such as apple detect yr location to give relevant content, and find my iphone function if device got lost.

now can open same app in multiple windows, means i can do Words document side by side.. and file organizer is more useful.. now i think it will be more convenient to use for work

was eager to try USB thumb drive, realizes i’m not using ipad pro anymore. lol.. thumb drive will work on this ipad mini if use lightning adapter?

recently it was weird my apple pencil seems always low bat, and when charging it seems charging very slowly.. tried to unpair amd re pair a few times doesnt solve it.. then finally i unpair, restart ipad, then re pair, now only solved.. its behaving like normal again now

in case anyone wondering how long an ipad mini can survive.. here a living proof.. on the left my kid’s ipad, was bought in 2012, then i passed it to her.. in fact this ipad is a year older than my kid.. she is still using it now. there is no problem at all with the ipad, even all buttons are still functioning, battery life still decent (i never change battery yet), screen is all good condition.. probably the best amount money i’ve spent on anything. lol

anyone know where i can buy casing for old ipad mini? tossed away my kid's ipad mini case because its too old. went to a few shops but none selling older ipad mini case.. the older one is thicker so newer case can't fit

Message notification is important for me. Guess Ipad mini cannot replace my iphone for social life style completely.
Anyone of you guys using Ipad mini as secondary monitor? It's small screen but it is still good enough and viewable as Messenger chat screen by the side of the working station.

To put it simple, you still need a phone for real communications.. Ipad mini can fill anything else.. Most of my media consumption is on ipad mini now, which is good as less usage on my phone, longer battery life for daily usage.. But telegram works well on ipad though, if your peers using it a lot you are at luck.. I seen a lot of people moving to telegram nowadays.

Using ipad mini as secondary monitor is not something I'm looking at, the screen is too small anyway.. In fact I'm thinking to get an external monitor to hook my ipad, such as to watch netflix. Lol
