there are quite alot chinese students in my batch/year but majority still malay and most of them come from Peninsular Malaysia...

you should be thankful and accepting the offer.. UMS is the only university in malaysia has 'A WHOLE FACULTY' for psychological studies, theres no doubt the lectures all expert with psychology areas. name others IPTA that would even match UMS in term of psychology, UKM will be so-so standard. Other U just offering counselling that was only one branches for psychology. But UMS has all in detail.

If you still refuse to take the offer, so make 'suka sama suka deal' for changing courses. UMS will accept that. The only prob why student couldnt change courses is because the course was full. Others student would thankfull you for letting this psychology courses.

Yes you have to prepare your own ticket. Peninsular students must spend more just to study there due to the flight tickets T.T

ur cmpus is at labuan not at kk

but for the orientation u need to go to ums kk..

hi i'll be going 2 ums dis sept... i got e-dagang course (wic i dunwan) wic is in labuan... so i wanna clarify a few things and hope u guys can help me out

i'm aware dat we nid 2 have our own plane tickets to sabah... so i will be flying to kk for registrations and den wat? coz my campus is in labuan, so do i nid 2 prepare my own flight ticket fr kk to labuan?

do we really nid 2 verify certs dat d uni did not ask for (as in stated in d buku panduan)? coz i read a lot of past posts dat dey verified like hundreds of certs... is it necessary?

since i'm getting a course wic i dunwan... can i change it once i register? if yes den how? i really dunwan dis course as i'm a pure bio student (was really disappointed wen i got d offer)

lastly can any seniors fr labuan campus show me pics of d hostel dere? i really nid 2 consider wat 2 bring n wat not 2 bring coz airasia only lets me carry my baggage of 30kg if not i'll get extra charges

i really hope 2 get d answers 2 my ques soon... i hv a lot 2 do thx in advance =)

you can use plane or ferry to labuan from kk.. and to be safe certify all the things as stated in buku panduan and bring extra.. i heard the room there quite big too.. but only got problem in water supply

No need to buy ticket to labuan, UMS will provide transportation (BUS) directly to UMSKAL after MSM (minggu suai mesra).

It depend on available quota, u need to meet ur dean and state ur reason..i would say, it really depend on luck..some student able to change course & some not.

ps: bring sunblock..weather there are VERY HOT, compare to KK
