For the "name in card" issue,

If i put nickname on my cc instead of full name, (Example: IC name - LEE AH GAO , CARD name - MIKE LEE)

Can my friends / family member enter lounge if same family name ?

You will likely have a problem yourself, if your card name is different from your boarding pass name (which will normally follow IC/passport).....not advisable....

Normally card holders will put nickname instead of full name on the cc mah.

It will be better if you use abbreviations instead of nick as Australia’s lounges and NZD one are quite strict about that.

So far did not encounter any issues at other lounges.

What access does CC lounge access to Aerotel KLIA gives btw? Can you nap in their private bedrooms with shower for 3 hours? Or just sit at their lounge and food?

Just sit at their lounge and food. They do not have private bedroom, not sure about shower though.

Eh, must have mistaken then since I thought Aerotel lounge is part of the Aerotel Transit Hotel KLIA. Oh wait or is that in KLIA2 only?

Aerotel lounge is in KLIA2, located right next to the entrance to the Aerotel hotel.

There are 2 ppl lounges at the gateway of KLIA2....the original gateway lounge, and the new aerotel lounge.....both have bedrooms for rent.....

CC grants you access to the lounge only, with the gateway one having shower facility....and now both lounges allow a 1hr use of rooms instead....

Ohhh so you can opt for either 3 hours lounge or 1 hour use of rooms?
I saw pictures of the Aerotel KLIA2 with showers in their toilets though?

Slightly OOT, what is the best option to overnight in klia2, for early flight.
Prefer a bed rather than sleep in lounge.
Budget 80-150.
Do we enjoy discount (with CC entitled PPL access) for aerotel hotel?

Tune hotel is the most comfortable, but it's now more than rm200 per night....the day use room rate only for daytime use....

The ppl/aerotel rents at blocks of a few hours, so is an option if you only want say 4-6 hrs....more than that might as well get tune hotel.. .

Otherwise capsule hotel loh.....

Any idea what's the rate for ppl/aerotel?
4-6 hrs is sufficient.
Wanna try out new stuff if the price is reasonable.
