the very first time i use maybank krisflyer platinum to enter this lounge, the staff check with one the device, she said not accept.

then i feel weird, and ask her to check with another device, then that device shows it is accessible.

i was like : 

and then i used smarttraveller to collect points. my friend who use android phone immediately got the 100 points. for me , after 3 weeks pun no points.

the staff asked me to email to smart traveller.

If it possible to claim back from bank the entrance fees too the lounge if the normal swap for free entrance cannot use? I means use the card to make payment for like normal use / purchase the lounge pass.

The gold version does have an unofficial waiver rule: spend at least RM9k in the 6 months prior to anniversary date. The platinum being a new card, nobody has reached the anniversary date, so we will see.

Also, has anyone received the bonus 7k miles moving from gold to platinum?

had a lounge hopping at BKK airport last weekend

- Miracle first class lounge (Concourse D)
- Coral first class lounge (Concourse D)
- Turkish airlines lounge (Concourse D)
- Oman air first class lounge (Concourse E)
- Air France KLM Skylounge (Concourse F)

Personally i think coral lounge is the best. nicely designed, capacious with many private dining area. Food is good. Shower facility. The bonus is you can get complimentary head and shoulder massage

Miracle just like our PPL, food limited and crowded.

Turkish lounge...lousy

Oman air lounge...limited middle east foods. environment ok.

Air France skylounge...bit run down but food is good

I have few questions:

1. Which credit card provides priority pass? So far I found hong leong infinite P (no annual fee + 4x complimentary entries) and maybank Amex platinum (very exp annual fee rm3.2k). Any others?

2. I'm considering Citi Premiermiles but don't have access to London airport lounges. Citi prestige comes with keylounge but only waive 1 year annual fee (rm1000). Any other recommended cc with lower or free annual fee that can access to overseas lounges, especially uk?

3. For priority pass, I saw they only have 3 lounges in UK but they provide gbp15 discount only. Usually overseas lounges are not like our PPL in klia that comes with free f&b?

I have been so busy and hardly have the chance to login to LYN these days. Been flying every month and in fact posting this on my way to Singapore now back from Istanbul using the SQ free in-flight WiFi.

I will fly again tomorrow, I have only a few hours in KL and will be flying to Bangkok in the evening. I’m not flying business this time for BKK, just wondering if any cards can use for the PPL at the regional side without going to the KLIA satellite building? Is it called PPL First? I used it when I flew with SQ business class that day.

I flew MH business last month to Manila. The business class lounge in NAIA is so far the worst I went to, super small and limited choices of food. Luckily it was free access.

In March, I flew MH business again to Bangkok and Miracle Lounge is not bad. I like the ice cream.

Last two weeks, I went to the PPL First in KLIA, complimentary of flying SQ business. It is not bad actually, better than the PPL in the satellite building. Of course, nothing beats the SilverKris Lounge in T3 Changi. Just now I was at the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge in Istanbul also very good and I’m impressed.

Just sharing my experience of flying these few months. I know mostly are business class lounges but hopefully it’s OK for sharing.
