If only Amex Plat offered the free rides back from airport and 4N free 1N stays, it would be more reasonable.

We only 'earn' these 3 things from Prestige card.

1) 4N Free 1N stay in any hotel.
2) Free rides back from KLIA (unlimited provided card used for 3 transactions overseas)
3) Unlimited LK

Other than these 3, Prestige doesn't have that many benefits. Forget about those exclusive invites. I have joined for more than half a year and the only invite I got was for a movie screening for 2. But the invite was sent 3 days before the screening, so I didn't make use of it. But then again, it might be also because I do not spend that much on Prestige card.

Do note that it's 4NF1N. You need to stay only 4N. You have to book via Prestige's concierge. They will charge you for 4N, and then average out the price and credit the price of 1 night into your card a few days after payment. So effectively, you are paying for 3 nights. They are booking via Expedia, so the prices are what we will get anyway. Not the marked up prices.

I was lucky in that I had 2 work travels which required me to book 4 nights. If it wasn't for these 2, i would not have been able to utilize the 4NF1N as for personal holidays, i have never stayed in the same hotel for 4 consecutive nights.

I don't plan to renew the Prestige Card. Will cancel it in a few months, and wait and see what year end promos they have for new signups

The complementary night is give as credit in your credit card, so it offsets that month's amount automatically. Very smart and efficient way.

Not sure about double dipping with those hotel membership programs, as i am not part of these programs. I usually stay in those average hotels as I don't spend much time in the hotel anyway.
