I know they are upgrading their system for few days. Till now still cannot access the Unifi Mobile app to check data / credit yet.
Anyway, not sure after the upgrade, we would able to connect to Celcom 4G for better overall 4G coverage. smile.gif

Been using Unifi mobile for almost 1 year. So far so good with the coverage and not much different compare to Celcom. Maxis (wife use) line have better coverage and speed faster. Anyway, you pay for it...

I found some problem with Unifi Mobile utilizing Celcom 3G is that when our phone connected to 3G, even we move to area with Unifi Mobile 4G coverage, it will remain on 3G until the signal become weak, then only it search for stronger signal and connect to 4G. This will drain 3G quota...

Hopefully later they will make 4G and 3G data quota merge, after complete merging with Celcom 4G infra sharing.

Hi, does anyone has insight on when will be celcom 4g sharing be ready? Thinking to move my family line in when it’s ready. Cz my house, area. Celcom line quite good

If you looking for cheap plan ride on celcom network, can consider TuneTalk and RedOne, both offer pretty competitive and high data quote.
For unifi mobile, i picked it for never expire data quote. With 8GB, I think it can last me for 3-4 months easily, as I am long usage.

My reloaded amount reflected this morning

Same here, reloaded and the system had issue. Waited till next morning and it shown successfully reload. Their backend look like not stable and solid. I with unifi mobile for 1 year+, have 3 lines in use by kids. Very good plan for kids, as pay as you use and they are low usage, so RM 100 spent on data and call minutes can last many months.

Ya, this is the best and cheapest package. Lucky we got few lines during the launched. Now only limit to 1 per user
*
If we willing to pay RM 10 for Sim card, do we allow to take more lines? Must do it at tm centre instead of apps?

Couldn’t log into the app, saying that the number doesn’t exist. But I’m still able to surf the net and make calls using the line. So strange.
*
Uninstall, and re-install... or go to setting and clear all cache/files and reset the app, re-login then will be good.

My mum just mnp to unifi mobile last week. Now that mnp process is complete, i still cannot login to unifi mobile app. Whenever i try to login, an error said the number is not in the database.
Any1 have the same issue?
*
I think it took 2 to 3 business days to allow the system capture the setting and login to unifi mobile app. Kind of unexplainable stuff as everything sound not reasonable, but they did stated this on the faq page. Just gonna be patience. smile.gif

Me.
I ported from umobile to unifi after tried their free SIM (RM10 postage).

The reasons I choose for unifi,
1. Cheapest price in Malaysia.
2. Even better coverage than umobile
3. No need to worry about expried date anymore.
*
Same here, ported from Maxis to Unifi Mobile for more than 1 year ago. Pretty satisfy with it. The coverage kind of spotty in sub-urban area and need ride on Celcom 3G, but since I am super low usage user, as long as got coverage I'm good. I only got 10GB free. Spent > RM300 for reload and purchased data / calls, but still have > 10GB and 700 calls mins. biggrin.gif

Hopefully they won't change any baseline of the plan, especially the validity of use it every max 90 days to stay active. Even if they change it to 60 days, I am good, but sure lot of users will complaint.

Lesson learned, unifi sim card should not be used to receive payment related tag or verification code since it can stopped working anytime. During the sim card malfunction someone can hijack the number for malicious use.

Been using Unifi Mobile Bebas for 1 year plus, so far so good and the BEBAS very good for low usage person like me. Now I just spent RM250+ per year, plus I do not need to care about quote of data plan. As I can use whenever I need to use, and stop using any data for whole month, without wastage. smile.gif

Might be your area got coverage issue ?

1. that web site sponsored by u  mobile  biggrin.gif  wink.gif
2. mobile internet is not tm core business. unlike umobile, tm not interested to do price war. tm just happy eat some small cake.
3. celcom digi umobile tower using tm fiber backhaul
4. some place tm fiber contractor digging road and install  pole for maxis fiber cable
5. just use whatever plan good for you
*
Just sharing and that is from investor analyst perspective.
I think hard to 100% satisfy all users. I did found some not happy with Maxis coverage/plan, even though M telco label as the best. Unifi mobile need to add more effort to their software system, the app can't check the #BEBAS plan validity left. At least add a feature to tell last transaction / activity date or whatever, instead of we just guess it. And they keep sent the automated generated SMS to ask you use to stay active, but not a useful info to tell how many days zero activity.

So sick of people telling others not to use speedtest app...People can use whatever speed test app they want...cause you're not paying their phone bill 🙄

Here's mine

Where the location?

Actually we just want to confirm the max bandwidth & speed from telco, it really doesn't matter the "noise" or etc.
If even connect to local server and still slow speed test, really hopeless.

The modem is NOT FREE, it's actually FREE RENTAL.
You still have to return the modem in good condition after 24-months contract ended without penalty.

Oh, I got sim only unifi air, as modem out of stock and wait for new stock from Huawei. I thought the modem belong to us after 24 months contract? I did bought own dlink modem, just if ada free, take and backup. Lol.

Are unifi mobile and unifi air separate company?
Unifi Air = no call or SMS, unlimited data lagging badly at night.
Unifi Mobile = PAYU call and SMS, add on unlimited data does NOT lag.
Both connect to LTE band 5.

Unifi Mobile Postpaid and Unifi Air shared the same login page. Use Boost to pay for Unifi Air, need to select the Unifi Mobile (Postpaid), using the normal Unifi channel said account number invalid.

WELP!

MNP from Hotlink to Unifi 59-for-99 12m contract, activation settled on 1st February on-the-dot.

Yes, it does not ask for RM100 upfront.

But, first bill today 1st March is [(RM59 × 2) + tax].

Kind of billshocked since this is postpaid but billing is upfront a-la prepaid.

Entered 1st Feb, now like I'm paying for both 1st Feb -> 29th Feb -> 31st March.

Question:

Will next 1st April bill deduct from this "upfront" payment, or will I have to pay additional upfront amount for 1st April -> 30th April pulak?
*
TM always charge advance, same to Unifi fiber / Streamyx and now Unifi Air. I do not own Unifi Mobile Postpaid, but I did tested Unifi BEBAS with RM20 per week unlimited quota with own 4G router. The speed cap to 7-8mbps and use Band 40 at my area. Later I got the Unifi Air simcard only, and speed go up to 20-30 mbps with Band 40. If you are not high usage or use as backup, the BEBAS with weekly subscription might be better option with more control. I went to Unifi Air for faster speed and peace of mind, as this is used by 4 family members that like youtubing. The 7-8mbps kind of slow when multiple users use at same time.

This is how the first bill look like, with advance payment for March. Thank to this forumers for advised and sharing, it's help me did better decision.

Where can I get the bill? Doesn't look like there's app UI link to it.

No, it's not about saving.

I'm used to Maxis, Digi, Celcom way of using upfront payment to knock off early bill(s). So TM doing advance billing every month on postpaid users is out-of-ordinary to me.

Imagining that after few years when I terminate this account and I forgot TM is doing advance billing, TM might still issue last bill that still ask for money "postpaid". So I have to be on top of this.

I just login through unifi.com.my webiste, and picked Unifi Air.
Their system is not fully integrated and maintain Unifi fiber / Mobile & Air portal differently. So far if I login to my Unifi Air thorugh Unifi Postpaid website, it seem to okay too.
I don't know how they refund you on the advance payment, but I know they did it. I think they went for advance payment just want to prevent a lot of uncollected $$.
