I see a lot of post sharing they're getting more than 10Mbps for unifi mobile, but at the same time a few shared video in YouTube can only stream 480p smoothly, while need to buffer with 1080p. Is it because there are speed caps for certain website by unifi, or those who need to wait for buffering are just having a bad coverage?
*
Just to share what i am aware.

With Unifi Air (band 40, with 4G router modem), speed test 20 - 30Mbps, while watching youtube with phone, the resolution auto to 360 and I couldn't change it.
On Unifi Mobile (band 40, subscribed to weekly RM20 unlimited LTE, 4G router modem) - speed test 7-10Mbps. Youtube resolution auto to 360 too.

Both scenario at same location, same modem.

Hey guys, im currently on maxis with 2 supplemental line.
When i use the online service, i can only select to keep number for one item only, the other two wont let me select the keep number option.

Anyone have the same problem?
*
You need to make the supplemental lines become principle line, then only allow to port out.
If all your lines is principle, then no problem to port out. This is the problem when you have supplemental line but would like to retain the number and port to other telco. Another method is port the supplemental line to hotlink prepaid, then only from port Unifi Mobile/BEBAS later.

Good luck to those sign-ed up for 12-month contract RM59/month plan... Here is the brand new attraction from Maxis/Hotlink @ RM35/month

The new Hotlink unlimited look promising. Definitely aggressive move by Maxis. I think later Celcom / Digi will follow the path....

Hope so the others will counter back, especially during current economic crisis...

But please understand the T&C before subscribe. There must be a catch beyond the gimmick. However, bill shock moment won't happen in the new Hotlink plan because it is Prepaid plan. It's just a matter of sucking up the credit balance secretly in the background.

However, if Unifi Mobile wanna counter back, I suggest just remove the 12-month contract for RM59 promo and maintaining other perks. It should be enough for people to consider MNP back to UniFi Mobile (me for sure will MNP if this strategy is implemented).

It's RM38 (promo 35) and RM48 (promo 45), and those info available in TnC page only. Maxxx always like to hide detail.

No doubt about Maxis's infamous "hidden" agendas...

But I've already bought and activated DUMMY starter pack  to evaluate its hidden agenda. Need to sacrifice :

RM10 = starter pack
RM35 = Topup (excluding cashbacks from e-Wallet).

If for this 1st one month testing the assessment is up to my expectations, will MNP my PRIMARY line (ie UMobile Postpaid GX58) for sure...
*
Thank for the great sharing. Please share more on consistency of the network and experience of 3Mbps to watch youtube. I guess 360p should be good with 3Mbps.
Later Maxxs found their network congested, then they may quietly amend TnC like... capped to 10GB per calendar month or etc.

Is Unifi mobile prepaid and postpaid sharing the same network? What is the quality of coverage?
*
Yes, sharing same network. It's said will tag along Maxis for 4G coverage. Anyway, most of outdoor coverage have no issue, and get 5G for city areas. Major concern is malls basement or inner/corner end of building where no coverage....

I have a question too, whether unifi mobile already integration Maxis 4g for coverage or still work in progress? Anyone know about this please share. Thanks.

Yes, most places outside Unifi 4G coverage already using Maxis 4G network now.
Even i am now within Unifi 4G coverage but still connected to Maxis 4G Band 3 network.
*
Mind to share how we could know we are connected to Maxis 4G? So far i able to see it's shown uni5g string and either LTE or 5G.. thanks.

Do you good voice call quality ? I am staying in a corner of a Klang valley where the voice call I get is often breaking up. Using a provider which is claiming to use Celcom. That pisses me off. Thinking of trying Unifi mobile.
*
I don't have problem on voice call for unifi mobile. It's shown volte but i didn't verified whether calls in volte. Anyway, previously having problem with unifi mobile that it's not allow to make call untill I enable the international call function. The local call with +60 make it think an international call...

Good day to all.
If now i get a old sim card from seller for credit never expired and activate it, do i still enrol for previous prepaid plan or new wow prepaid plan?

The new unifi mobile prepaid wow plan with top up for active day make it no more attractive.

Or any good alternative that low cost to keep other then hotlink prepaid with very low usage on data and call.

Short of an existing bebas 10 account transfer, I don't think you would be able to do so. Any new activation of a sim card would follow what's available, i.e. unifi 5g wow.

Additionally, it's not that bad, you would still be able to use data during the 60 day grace period. You can top up whenever you feel like making a voice call. And receiving calls are still free.

Downgrade if compared with bebas 10 plan, but still slightly better than competition plan.

Thank for the tips and info.
Yeah, the bebas plan the best, and now only old batch of supporters got to keep that plan.

OMG ....you solved my mystery which has been like weeks or more than 1 month....

no wonder la...i see i still have 800+ MB data but totally no internet...cannot use.... damn it...

i just bought one day unlimited pass for RM3 to test it out and voila...... my internet is working already !!!!

rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

but really bang head man....even i go ask Unifi customer service...they never suggest me this scenario...just tell me...account active, sepatutnya boleh guna.... open a ticket for me and ask me to wait...
*
I am having problem with some of my data quota before the migration too. It's not usable and end up I need to buy the RM18 for 8GB.
Those old data still stuck in the account, can see, cannot use.

Anyway, I got 2 different accounts type. The Bebas 10 can use the data quota, but not the "mobile unifi" plan. Going to trial again after finished up the 8GB and see those old data quota is usable.

Also... i bought a day pass..  but it shows expiring Apr 24th? I can confirm i paid rm3 only...

I have the RM18 8GB for 4G/5G, and saw the RM3 for 15GB 5G, bought it...
The straight thing is.... it's didn't auto deduct my 5G data usage from 15GB 5G (1 month) but deducted from my 8GB 4G/5G (no expired) quote. This make me feel like kena trap. The system should auto deduct from time limited data plan.

I tried the RM12 Weekly Unlimited unfortunately what I see in my apps is that the complimentary (2 years expiry if not mistaken - this was what was requested last month or so due to their apps wiping out all existing complimentary data passes hence the freebies post mcmc complaint), is being deducted instead of my RM12 weekly. It shows 0MB used for the weekly unlimited while the 8gb complimentary deducted 1 or 2 gbs last I checked was 500mb before I subscribe the Unlimited Weekly. what to do now?
*
Having the same problem too, wasted the money.
Now I stick to finish all the carry forward data, before any new buy.
