FYI quoted cost to "service" the gearbox by outside VW specialist workshop is RM6k, no guarantee
also, this isn't my first encounter with this issue, i have far more stories to tell, but this is my most recent encounter.

A friend of mine bought 5 years old 1.4 Scirocco.. So far he only had major issue with the clutch.. After he changed it, the car no major problem for 4 years during his ownership.as much as i love this friend
