anyone knows what are the fees and fx mark-up for overseas purchases or atm withdrawals?

I read the 3 mae associated pdfs can't find the info there

Follow the bank rate for ATM for FX

Overseas depending on card providers with minimum 1% markup over their FX rate usually account to be 2% or more on average

got meh? didnt notice ppl saying that

Maybank's documentation for MAE only stated competitive rate, but doubt it would match bigpay's scheme fx without forex markup (usually banks/FIs apply 1.xx%)

Rumours only I doubt banks want lose 2% doh.gif

mbb charges 2% markup for their cards AFAIK... so just ckecking here anyone seen a lower number...

bp waived their 1% markup so it's hard to beat... but I read in their thread lots of problems using their card...

Based on Maybank fixed FX rate system usually above spot rate

By far only BP and OCBC has the most competitive FX rate by far and both are backed by MasterCard
