not really...
a pharmacy that I often visit recently changed their e-wallet (Boost/TnG/QRPAY) scanning procedure.
Previously is "buyer scan merchant's QR", then changed to "merchant scan buyer's QR".
I think I'm gonna try it this weekend.

Ended up using HLB Wise.

how do we know whether our MAE account is active or not.
Just now I logged in m2u and clicked the QRPAY tab, it showed QRCODE as usual, it didn't pop up any message.

I just paid RM140 using MAE at a retail store and received a miserable RM1 cashback.

I selected savings account.

i raised a case via Maybank fb messenger, the CS kept repeating the T&C (which I already knew). They just can't give an explanation why am I not getting cashback.

yes, everything fulfill criteria as per T&C.
1) MAE app version 0.7.4
2) fund source from savings account
3) scan&pay at participating merchant
3) amount >RM10

the only reason I can guess is, maybe the campaign does not work at midnight . Coz I paid at 2am.

I have captured their DUITNOW QR in my cellphone, so I can scan/pay anytime anywhere.

yes, confirm in the list.
Previous campaigns I also scanned his QR and managed to get cashback.

29-Jun update:
So I went to my friend's store today, I scanned his MAE DUITNOW in store, amount RM77.40, again still no cashback ! not even see the splash screen !
If it pop up message say "uh oh, better luck next time", then I surrender la. But I didn't see any message. I went to check account balance also no credit anything.
Sigh, dare not try again liao. Stick back to Boost...

Har? If it's not Duitnow QR, what QR did you scan to earn cashback ?

Everytime when MAE have campaign I would go to my friend's store to scan his MAE Duitnow QR, no issue thus far. Only this time kena.

But T&C Clause 2.6 states :
The payment method is Scan & Pay transaction via the “PAY” or the “SHOW QR CODE” function on the MAE app, where the source of funds can be from MAE account, Maybank current account or savings account, Maybank Islamic current account and savings account and Mudharabah Investment account.

Therefore i think the cause of no cashback is not because of not using MAE account.
But your suggestion is worth a try. Maybe can try a minimum RM10 first.
