I used once when Maybank offered 18% rebate (Jan 2019). MAE was not launched yet, the fund was deducted from CASA.

I assume Maybank don't block Current Account. Hehe.

At the end all the banks will surrender to Paynet QR/Wallet.

I am using Maybank2U.Premier which I opened online >10 years ago. Introducer is not required.
I maintain RM1000 daily balance (average over 6 months) all the while so no charge of RM10 every 6 months or monthly charge.
If I am not wrong, RM15 charge for the cheque book (100 pieces).

LOL. Current account without cheque book is no longer a current account

Maybank/CIMB savings account >120 transactions in a month will be blocked. Shall use Current account instead.

Be careful on your account receiving fund. Set up a few accounts for Duitnow.
I am considering Bill payment to Unifi using Amex as well, not sure I will get some tokens.

Cheque book (100 x RM0.15) ?

Do you have a Maybank ATM+Debit card? Either No Annual Fee (but max 4 withdrawals per month, subsequent withdrawal - RM0.50 per transaction) OR RM8 Annual fee.

The ATM charge is not really related to the M2U Premier account.

Did you choose a branch and cheque book request/collection?
Stamp duty (RM0.15 per cheque) will be charged upon issuance, not upfront.

If you don't have a current account (to write a cheque), M2U Premier is really good to keep.

Maybe too many savings accounts kena frozen (>120 transactions in a month) so Maybank rectified it.

Not so useful at this moment.
It will be very useful when it is converted to DuitNow QR and IBFT renamed to DuitNow (to account). + DuitNow to I/C number and DuitNow to Phone number are now ready. All will be consolidated under PayNet for all the local banks.

"Maybank Visa Card"- your M2 Visa / FCB VS.
"Maybank Amercian Express Credit Card" - your M2 Amex.
At M2U App, Bill payment RM30 to "Maybank Visa Card" or "Maybank American Express Credit Card"
to gain 1 entry.
WARNING: AVOID using a Savings account (account will be frozen if >120 transactions in 1 month), use a CURRENT ACCOUNT instead!
