Most likely yes, MAE is a Savings account.
If eMadini fund, you need to scan at Duitnow QR merchants.

Unfortunately Duitnow Transfer / QR now removed.

To pay Maybank Card, you can go for "Pay a bill" (Maybank Visa/MasterCard/American Express) RM30 per payment. Not only Pay Card RM100.
This month I got RM0.20
Last month I got RM0.50/RM1

Use Jompay 40386 Syarikat Sesco Berhad.

Or pay at SEBCares (App and www.sesco.com.my), Lazada, Shopee using FPX (debit from MAE account) or MAE debit card.

Or top up S Pay Global (a.k.a. SarawakPay) using FPX or MAE debit card. Then use S Pay Global E-wallet App to scan the QR code at your Sesco bill and pay. You will earn a Shake Reward given by Sarawak Government.

P/S: MAE account is a Savings account.

MAE account?

MAE account is a Maybank Savings account. I think you can pay at Maybank ATM using MAE Card or Maybank debit card.

Also, try MyBayar PDRM. Should allow FPX (Maybank savings account) and credit/debit card (MAE Card is a debit card). Your MAE App to approve the transaction.

No need to use credit card to top up TNG wallet lah. You still can use CASA to top up TNG wallet FOC, just like top up MAE.

MAE doesn't give you an option to top up using credit card, so TNG wallet is better right?

Not sure on "using MAE"
BUT for Maybank Savings Account, you should avoid having >120 transactions in a month, including deposit. Otherwise, you are advised to open a Current Account, especially those receiving funds from customers.

Open.a M2U Premier Current Account or M2U Savers Account.
No need MAE wallet account.

My M2U Premier Current Account and M2U Savers Account can generate the pink QR code to receive fund as well.

Not as generous as before (2019-2021), which I could get a few hundred RM in a month, with M2U Premier Current Account (beyond monthly limit of Savings account and MAE Wallet). By creating credit card outstanding balance then paying credit card in multiple of RM30.

Also "Scan & Pay" (QRPay) used to be very good, the CB could be higher than swiping credit card (My best was CB RM100 for a RM40 transaction). Now Maybank very kiam-siap.

Then MAE App to approve.

You have MAE Wallet?
If yes, it is a Savings account, you can use it to scan any Duitnow QR to pay.
If Don't have Maybank Current/Savings (including MAE Wallet), forget MAE Scan & Pay. Use your primary bank app (any bank) and ewallet (ShopeePay, TNG Wallet, Grabpay, Boost or Setel or Merchantrade) to scan Duitnow QR and pay.

You may select using credit card instead of CASA/MAE, only Maybank QRPay merchants opt in to accept QR by credit card, very rare. The merchant scan your QR code. Please note QR fund sourced from credit card not eligible for TAP & WIN prize, so no reason to use credit card for QR.

MAE Wallet account is a special Savings account. It comes with 12-digit account number, you may deposit cash at Maybank Cash Deposit Machine or Safeguard CDM (fee apply), Duitnow Transfer from any banks. However no interest will be earned.

Otherwise you may open a Savings account at Maybank branch, with a ATM+Mydebit card. Bring along your pay slip, or letter of appointment. All the current and savings account, Fixed deposit and credit card accounts are using MAE App as well (MAE Wallet account is not required), and Maybank2U.

Not sure if you can deposit cash at Safeguard Cash Deposit Machine + ATM into GX bank account or not. Try it out.
