MBSB is certainly the most useless bank in Malaysia.

I tried to went to their bank to open a current account for my company.
So they asked me a lot of question like why i chose their bank to open account, ask me to furnish my company bank statements, etc.

Since it's a new company, how am i going to produce bank statement?
There's a lot of god damn banks hungry for business, and MBSB tidak apa attitude will kill them soon.

Yes, it is a f-up bank.
I have faced similar situation and I cannot take it no more; decided to settle the loan earlier. Now I am a happy boy. biggrin.gif

That's why I don't buy its shares... Really no confidence in it.

in fact you should buy it because they use your money to invest something else 'first' biggrin.gif joking

Does anyone have a Cash Rich Savings Account-I (Link), in MBSB Bank?

1) Is it possible to activate the access to MBSB Bank internet banking, without getting the debit card? Perhaps, the bank can give us a temporary card number for the activation.

Annual fee of RM 8 is imposed during subsequent years, for MBSB Visa Debit Card-I (Link).

2) Is the 2.68% interest for this saving account calculated based on daily account balance, and is credited monthly?
I do not really understand the Tawarruq concept, as mentioned in Specific Terms & Conditions (Current Account-i and Savings Account-i)

Thank you for your information. smile.gif

If your bank is dogily charging you hidden stuffs, you can always file a complaint with BNM and OFS.

What is OFS ?

this case is not uncommon. but it should not be like that.
you should bring this up to bnmtelelink. last time i lodged a formal report and then only the (in my case) insurer take my case seriously. before that all blame me. after 1 formal complaint to BNM with a chronology of events, straight u-turn from them.

MBSB very famous for doing such thing.
They even lelong ppl houses before by mistake. Got a buyer won but MBSB eventually cancel the sale. Not 1 case but few cases.  Is the worst bank in term of managing your loan repayment.

+1 thanks for sharing.

I don't have such account and seeing so many feedback experience. I dare not open MBSB.

Lots of bankers used to say Islamic Banking is good.
But Saudi Arabia buy so much war machines from USA.... so I guess I don't know Islam after all.
