The unspoken part is probably some Malay company also discriminating against the Malay candidate. And if this is true, what does this survey tell us?

Racism will always exist to some extent, but jumping to conclusion against another race without any real basis... that is what fuels racism

My company have zero indian. Because worry they rage when goring.
Malay usually diam diam go, because they also known they are not performing. And they don't tipu as indian.

Employers (not Ah Beng company) are looking for ppl with modern global outlook/mindset that fits with the world (u tak sign ICERD and pergi attend rally summore means already tolak markah), good English, disciplined, and hard working and dedicated.

After that, command of other languages is a plus. Esp a language that is widely used.

It is ALWAYS this set of criteria, without being too specific....like taking long Maternity Leave, etc

Not many young Malaysians fit this. But a certain race in Malaysia are often the closest fit.
