that said, chinaman companies will always prefer chinese, unless they look for sweepers or lorry drivers. As shitty and racist as it is, it is the way it is. These chinamen build their own business with little help from outside the chinese community.......so, their empire, their rules.The chinese with koyak english will go work for these comps

Now as for MNC, it's false to say that chinese are preferred. it just so happen that the bulk of applicants who match the job reqs (read proficient in written and spoken English) seem to be the urban chinese and indians.

It's not a surprise that if you go to a foreign firm say.......HSBC for banks, shell for OnG, Manulife for insurance, Accenture for Professional Services and you'll see most people are non-bumis. Two reasons really.....the unemployable bumis won't even get pass HR, while the ones who are employable would have job offers at GLC's and would probably prefer working at GLC's too. No surprise that our major GLC's TNB, Petronas, Maybank have way more bumis than non-bumis.


Msia is just structured like that........the typical path for an ambitious chinese working for an MNC is such. Do a few years of time at a good firm in Msia....either transfer to or find a new job in SG. From SG, they would then look for opps in HK or Australia or further afield. Most would probably be happy to stay in SG. Indians too will follow such a path if they have the resources.

As for the malays, the unemployed ones will feel miserable because even GLC's and government tak ambil kerja in this climate...they will join stupid groups like bossku, red shirts and mara protest. These are the sampahs and these are the ones you should worry about when shit hits the fan. They will be the ones perpetrating pogroms against the nons.

The employed ones will be comfortable at GLC's. Well paid and little stress, a lot of them want to do a good job, a lot of them are also complacent and do things at their own pace. Still ok given that you still have electricity and running water at home. In terms of competitiveness, only Petronas can be considered as competitive. yang lain are pretty much jaguh kampungs.

If that a genuine survey why cannot trust? Regardless who did the survey as long there is a clear method to show how they get their result. If there is no other survey disprove the survey the result still valid.

survey done with 7 people resume only. do at least 5-10 people/resume per race la. secondary school project probably have even better sample size.

I pity Indians the most:

1) no bumi perks, many poor to begin with.
2) discriminated even by their peers from different caste
3) too small in number to make a hit even doing business (unless they sell something bumi wants)*

4) *if the do business to sell something that majority (read: bumi) wants.. they have bigger hurdles complying to Islamic standards**
