Just checked my Grab App. Yes, can schedule in advance only for Grab Taxi option. I'm not sure about Sabah location, I'm in West Malaysia. Suggest you open app and see whether there is an option, just choose Grab Taxi (metered or executive), you will see a clock icon bottom left of the app.

I want to reg for grab but what is rental agreement? I mean my wife own thecar so I have a rental from her?

most of the time, godcar. sometimes preve. not bad.

My last Grab ride was a taxi. I underetand some taxis have registered with Grab. I was not appy,i've stopped taking taxis for a long time! Taxi vehicles are in poor shape & drivers are rude. But since the taxi arrived already i got in. It was a usual poor looking taxi.

The taxi driver said a few alarming things. I like to hear if any of this is true.

1. All Grab drivers will have to apply for taxi drivers licence.
2. All Grab cars have to be registered in commerical catagrey.
3. This will be implimented by end of this year.

Yup. Happened to me before. These taxis are still in shit condition, with shit attitude and worst of all, shit driving. On the last point, I really question how they are so called licensed public transportation drivers.

P.s. booked a ‘normal’ grab service before and got a BMW 3-Series. Regretfully, it was a short journey to the income tax office only!

One thing is clear, shitty taxis with shitty drivers & attitudes are never going to change. I guess the crony here is never going away!

I am glad my point 2 is fake. Vehicle catogrey does not change. If that changed to comerical, then BMW resale value will drop like ton of bricks,for that matter any luxury car in Grab.

I cant afford a BMW,but at least can get a taste with Grab. I really hope these vehicles dont dissapear due to new rules! Bloody cronies trying to kill Grab due to loss of business. They dont want to improve their product!
